“The differentiator we went after at OpenWorks was to use pride of ownership to our advantage. We capitalized on that notion by setting up individual franchises, where the owner is in charge of delivering
the service to end users — customers — and also, as an owner, he or she is closer to the employees they’re hiring. This has helped reduce workplace turnover to 40 percent from an industry average of 300 percent.”
- OpenWorks Founder and CEO Eric Roudi
“OpenWorks is the perfect fit for me as an operations mind who knows how to manage people and ensure follow through on the value proposition a company promises customers.”
- OpenWorks franchisee Ken Chafee
“OpenWorks CEO Eric Roudi said his company adds more than 70 franchisees a year and says there’s no better place in the world to open a business than the United States of America.”

“When I graduated, I had to figure out something
to do … . Through franchising, I could tap into my entrepreneurial
spirit.”

OpenWorks’ poll found more than half of
employees get into conflicts with their
co-workers over office temperatures and
thermostat wars at work as well as cleanliness
(or lack thereof).
The survey found that 55 percent of millennials would consider taking less pay for an office that has an up-to-par cleanliness level and perfect temperature.
Only 25 percent of baby boomers said the same.
Nearly half of parents surveyed said they feel pressured to send their kids to school in these
conditions — even if they’re sick — because they can’t miss work.
According to OpenWorks Executive Vice President
David Bosley, these survey results should be
a true eye-opener for education leaders who have a responsibility to maintain
healthy learning environments.
When flu season strikes, it is critical to be aware of ‘office danger zones’
as studies show that germs thrive on human
touch.
... American workers can expect more spending money, more stress ... and more exposure to poisonous chemicals
and toxins.
“They don’t have to look up someone for pest control in the Yellow Pages if we have those people on our roster.
If they see a hole in the wall, a ripped rug, or other trip hazard,
we can do that—and it helps reduce their cost.”
- Dave Hicks, OpenWorks’ director of facility solutions
“ ... all of our franchisees have done an excellent job following through on the
promise that ‘there is a difference’ when you use OpenWorks. ... the time was
right to share what makes us different – our focus on ‘improving facilities and
pleasing people.’”
- Eric Roudi, OpenWorks founder
“OpenWorks is the perfect fit for me as

people and ensure follow through on the
value proposition a com-pany promises customers.”
- Ken Chaffee, franchisee, OpenWorks
