CONNECT: Small group experience

Connect with others. Connect with Christ. Connect Christ with all the parts of your life. CONNECT Small Groups is a fantastic opportunity to

enjoy stimulating discussions with others interested in

growing in faith AND to learn about this amazing faith

we share as Catholics. We’d love to welcome YOU to this

experience, which so many in our parish have found to

be valuable and worthwhile. It is the goal of CONNECT

groups to enable you to Connect with others, Connect

with Christ, and Connect Christ with all parts of your life.

We invite you to join others who have said “yes” to

growing through CONNECT groups.

When people meet the real Jesus in Scripture, lives

change, hearts heal, and the grace and power of our

baptism is unleashed to truly change all that has become

so negative and contentious in our world today. Our

Christian faith is a faith of deep joy and peace and every

Catholic can access that peace and joy even in the midst

of societal conflict and discord

CONNECT small groups will be starting up again in

mid-September. The meetings will be held virtually;

not in person.

Watch for further information and registration

information in the coming weeks .

Provide Schooling & Basic Care

for Children, Ghana

Ancilla School Wa has been in

existence since 2010. The

school founded by the Sisters

of Handmaids of the Holy Child

Jesus, started as an early

childhood educational center

with 35 kids - ages 18 months -

five years. Today, the school

has a population of over 2000

children – from newborn to Junior High School. The school

provides scholarships to about 500 pupils from very poor

homes and educationally disadvantaged communities. The

school is concerned about the total wellbeing of children

and provides nutritional, emotional, spiritual, and health

needs. Each day, children in the school are served a

nutritious breakfast and staff eat as well. The school

feeding programs serve as motivation for needy children do

have access to quality education. Since March 15, schools

in Ghana were asked to lockdown because of the pandemic.

Our children who were safe and nourished are suffering

hunger and deprivation. The sisters have lost their source

of livelihood and can no longer support them. We want to

be there for our kids in this time of difficulty and exposure.

We want to provide at least one nutritious meal for them.

We need your assistance to support our ministry to

vulnerable children during this pandemic.

Consider a Gift of Stock to

Support the Ministries of Holy Martyrs

In gratitude for all that God has given us, we, as

Christians, are called to give back to our community and

our church. In addition to the Sunday offertory, one way

of giving back might be transferring appreciated stock

to help Holy Martyrs continue its mission to lead people

to encounter Christ, grow in faith, and make disciples.

By transferring stock directly to our parish, you may be

able to avoid capital gains taxes.

For more information about what you need to do to

make such a gift, please contact

Therese McDonnell at 330-722-6633 or
