SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE - (207) Entertainment is pleased to announce the 17 Time World Champion, Boston Celtics mascot, "Lucky" will be making an appearance during this year's “Harlem Superstars Charity Comedy Basketball Game” on Sunday, September 28 at the South Portland High School! Leprechauns are, in the traditional sense of the term, considered to be an Irish fairy represented by a tiny old man. LUCKY, the Celtics mascot is anything but your traditional Leprechaun. Although he does possess the mischievous traits and elusive tendencies of most leprechauns, he appears to be more of a young man with the energy of a 10-year-old boy. While many believe LUCKY used his fairy-like powers to track down the fountain of youth, he swears his passion for cheering on the Boston Celtics at the Fleet Center is what keeps him young. Whatever the case may be, LUCKY the Leprechaun has been a trademark of the Boston Celtics since before the team ever played a single game on American soil and will always stay loyal to the team. LUCKY swears he'll remain the #1 fan for his favorite team and 16 time world champions, Boston Celtics, until the end of time at the rate LUCKY is aging, that could be a very long time.
