Justification Telling good stories is essential to seduce and convince. The aim of this course was to learn how to be more efficient telling stories which mobilize the support of different sectors of society to our nature conservation projects. The idea of the course, which was held in September, was to mix experiences from different institutional and professional backgrounds. Then we got advice from the world of stories, audiovisual narrative, painting and advertising. Different questions were addressed; such as: how conservation history should be thinking and organized to be told through an audiovisual medium; how to install or sell a good story of conservation; how CLT has been successfully communicating stories of its projects and how to prepare presentations which impact to the audience. Besides the exhibition sessions, participants had to build a project of communication for any protected areas or endangered species closer to their daily reality. Background The course was held at the Hotel Boutique Torre del Guayaibí, located in close proximity to the city of Mercedes (Corrientes, Argentina) on Tuesday 15th, Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th September 2015. It was an intensive course which counted with 24 hours of classes. Fifty-three participants (including teachers) attended to the course. They work for different foundations, research centers and CLT (see Annex 1: list of participants). The activities of the course were coordinated by Ignacio Jiménez, who currently works as director of the Recovery Program for Threatened Species in Iberá (CLT). And the following guest lecturers attended to it:

• Gabriela Lubarsky: Professional storyteller • Marcelo Viñas: Experienced filmmaker • Rafa Abuin: Director of short and emotional videos • Silvia Benito Santamaría: Responsible communication Yaguareté project (CEIBA) • Emiliano Ezcurra: Activist/ marketing of conservation • Carlos Montefusco: painter, who tells stories from his paintings
