Dunkirk, New York January 7/8th 2017 SEAS Christmas Basket Project Thank You! On behalf of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Christmas Basket Project, I would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to our parish for your generous donations towards our Christmas Basket Project which took place from December 16-18, 2016. This year, the SEAS Christmas Basket Project was able to give out a total of 142 food and gift baskets to needy families in our area. Through your donation, 483 children and adults received Christmas this year. In all, a total of 43,470 meals were distributed to families through the Christmas Basket Project. This could not have been accomplished without the financial support and generous donations of gifts from our parish community. Even through difficult economic times, the true spirit of giving was witnessed. I would also like to thank the hundreds of volunteers who gave their time to help us put the baskets together and distribute them. We would not be able to do this project without you! Once again, thank you very much for your donation towards the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Christmas Basket Project. We hope you will consider making a donation next year as we continue to help others in need. May you have a blessed year! Sincerely Carol A. Smith Christmas Basket Project Coordinator

Can You Help? We have a need for a few men or women to assist with taking up the collection at Sunday Mass and with distributing materials at the end of mass. Note that you do not necessarily have to be seated in the back of the church and you do not have to wear any special jacket as long as you are dressed in a manner appropriate to the occasion. If you are able to assist in this way, kindly notify Fr Dennis or one of the regular ushers at the mass you normally attend. Thank You.

SEAS Women’s Group Come join a wonderful group of women that meets each Thursday from 6pm to 7:30 pm in the downstairs Rectory Meeting Room. Each woman brings her personal gifts for building up the others in the group. We study a variety of Scriptural topics, pray together, sing, use our creativity and enjoy one another’s fellowship. Our goal is to grow spiritually and to reflect God’s unconditional love. Shortly, we will start a new Catholic book review, The Heart of Holiness, Friendship with God and Others by Fr Gary Lauenstein. For information, please contact Joan Santalucia at 450-0583, or [email protected] , or simply come on Thursday.
