Established in 2000 as an Open End spinning facility

in Şanlıurfa, ZÜMRÜT TEKSTİL A.Ş. became one of the

prominent textile companies in Turkey as a result of its high

quality production and customer relationship policies. In 2006,

the knitting facility became operational and ZÜMRÜT TEKSTİL

A.Ş. successfully transferred its quality policy and customer

relation understanding to this new field. In 2011, the dyeing

and finishing facility was opened and ZÜMRÜT TEKSTİL A.Ş.

started to serve its domestic and foreign customers under the

new brand name “BONISA”.

ZÜMRÜT TEKSTİL A.Ş. is on its way to become a well-

known and strong brand with BONISA and has been working

towards carrying the customer satisfaction and producing

high quality products principle one step ahead thanks to its

vertically integrated structure. It is focused on developing new

products and becoming prominent in knitted fabric field with

its innovative approach.

Spinning

Since 2000, Zümrüt spinning facility has been producing

open end yarn from 8/1 Ne to 60/1 Ne of various different

raw materials such as viscose, Birla modal, Iyocell tencel,

bamboo, viscose blends, organic cotton, cotton and cupro

with its Schlafhorst and Trüztschler brand machine park. All

the yarns produced are used in Zümrüt’s knitting facility for

BONISA brand fabrics.

Knitting

The knitting facility started its production in 2006 with its

Pilotelli brand single jersey machines. The facility contains 26-

30-32 and 34 Inch circular knitting machines as well as 38 Inch

knitting machines of 10 and 14 Fein. The knitting department

increased its capacity during the latest investment plan with

new Terrot brand Ribana circular knitting machines.

All the fabrics knitted in the facility become special BONISA

qualities after the dyeing and finishing processes

Zümrüt’s dyeing and finishing facility started its production

with its specialized technical team in 2011 under the brand

name BONISA. The facility that has a closed space of 22.500

m2 and is equipped with domestic and European machines

stands out with its fully automatic dye and chemical distribution

system. Many small dyeing tanks are an important part of the

facility as a result of the need for collection, sampling and

special fabric production. High quality BONISA fabrics are

produced with the best quality dye and chemical materials

and pre-treatment, dye and finish processes. BONISA brand

fabrics get their special touch and slickness features thanks to

the special pre-washing unit.

research and development. Developing new qualities with new

fabric styles, new fibers, new blends and techniques is one of

qualities after treatments in the dyeing and finishing facility.

Every BONISA quality is a result of a diligent process from

fiber to dyed fabric and is ready to take its part in the knitted

collections of the prominent global brands. BONISA quality

range covers single jersey, ribs, interlock, three loop threads,

two loop threads, punto di roma types of knitted fabrics.

Color Lab

The chemistry laboratory is administered by professional and

expert chemists and the most striking feature is the presence

of Tecnorama WS pipeting and Datacolor spectrophotometer

machinery. Textile auxiliary chemicals used in the laboratory

do not include chemicals mentioned in SVHC Candidate List

(Annex 1) informed in the Textile Auxiliary Chemicals REACH

Regulation. Dye materials and chemicals used have Oekotex

certificates.

Physical Lab

The physical laboratory has the capacity to realize following

tests in many standards thanks to its modern and high

technology machinery: pilling, stability, spirality, light fastness,

bursting strength, color fastness, perspiration fastness, dry

cleaning fastness, rubbing fastness, ph value, water fastness,

sea water fastness, chlorinated water fastness. Every party

of the production is tested rigorously and is in line with the

international standards and customer demands.
