A Hollywood legend, with countless awards and accolades, Robert De

Niro’s passion goes beyond acting. He is well-known for his influence in

Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood with ventures including co-founding

TriBeCa Productions, the Tribeca Film Festival, The Greenwich Hotel and

the restaurants Tribeca Grill and Nobu. As a co-founder of Nobu, he’s been

instrumental in the aesthetic and creative direction of the brand.

Four years ago, De Niro began seeking out the ideal location for his vision of

a Caribbean resort, and his team purchased property on Barbuda. He called it

“Paradise Found.” For him, developing hotels and restaurants is like creating

a film. It’s a collaborative endeavor where creative minds and diligent hands

come together to craft something exquisite.

In that way, Paradise Found is the next installment of a beloved franchise.

Perched on the former site of the famous K-Club, the resort is swathed in

gardens, dunes, tall palm trees and large specimen trees. It also features

two miles of white sand beach, one of the best beaches in the world,

renowned for its privacy and natural beauty.

A UNIQUE DESTINATION

On September 5, 2017, the strongest Atlantic hurricane on

record struck Barbuda. While Paradise Found was not yet

under development, the local population suffered significant

property damage. Paradise Found is working with the

government of Antigua and Barbuda to assist residents

in rebuilding their homes and their lives, using this as an

opportunity to create a greener, more sustainable Barbuda.

Robert De Niro is raising awareness, appearing

at the UN and on CNN to plead for donations

and support.

SUPPORT

Paradise Found is sourcing needed equipment and

donations through its Barbuda Relief Fund.

PARTNERSHIP

Paradise Found is also supporting and participating

in Barbuda Green, a masterplan to rebuild Barbuda’s

utility systems to be based 90% on renewable energy.

Our goal is not only to rebuild Barbuda, but also to improve

long-term employment and tax revenues. We aim to make

the island more prosperous for its residents over the long

run, as well as become a model for other Caribbean

island nations.

Situated at the edge of a discreet beach, the Paradise Found resort will

include a Nobu Hotel, Nobu restaurant, spa and residences, as well as

spaces for recreation and celebration.

The luxurious Nobu Hotel will have approximately 50 guestrooms,

each a separate villa with its own pool. The hotel is currently being

designed and is planned to start construction in late 2018 and open

in late 2020.

The Nobu residences will range in size from two-bedroom cottages

to large beachfront villas.

The Paradise Found resort will source its produce from local farms and

our own fields. The resort will have a village where guests can shop and

re-stock their pantry or galley. Recreational facilities will include a nine-

hole golf course, a water sports center and watercraft for exploring the

sea and the resort’s ponds and inland waterways.
