I have over 30 years experience in the Health and Beauty industry and The Belmore Centre at the Ranch House has been established for over 13 years. With our fully trained and insured team of Beauty and Complementary therapists, I believe we offer the most extensive range of therapies available in the Home Counties.

My team of staff pride themselves on their commitment to excellent service and we are constantly researching and introducing the latest in beauty and holistic treatments at the Centre.

Belmore Centre Gift Vouchers, which can be used to purchase Beauty treatments or products, are available all year round. They make an ideal gift, whatever the occasion, Birthdays, Christmas or just to show someone you care!

Our vouchers are valid for six months from date of issue and can be purchased for any denomination from £10 upwards or for specific treatments. Just call in at the Centre during our opening hours to make your purchase or telephone us with your credit/debit card details and we can arrange to post the voucher out to you.

The Cutting Room is a unisex hair salon which aims to give each client the individual care and attention they deserve in

relaxing and comfortable surroundings. The team at the Cutting Room offer all aspects of colouring, perming, cutting and blow-drying, along with scalp massage and conditioning treatments. They can also style your hair for your wedding day, any other special occasion or just offer advice on the best style to suit you.

We have a “lay-down” sunbed available for sessions of 5, 10 or 15 minutes. (Length of session will depend on your skin’s sensitivity).

Clarins Prescription Facial

The Prescription Facial is a relaxing one hour facial customised to the individual clients’ needs to help restore your skin

to a perfect state of balance. All Clarins products are made from natural plant extracts so are kind to the skin, leaving it feeling fully hydrated and refreshed. The Prescription Facial includes an eyebrow tidy to frame the eyes, a facial cleanse, exfoliation and tone and massage of your face and neck. Clarins Triactive Facials

Triactive Facials are a line-up of six highly personalised results driven facial treatments using Clarinspro products to deliver immediate long term results. These facials are clinically proven to improve skin firmness by 10% and hydration by 46%.

Express Facial

A half hour refreshing facial! Using Clarins products, the skin is cleansed, toned and exfoliated and a mask is applied before a moisturiser, leaving the skin feeling clean and refreshed. An ideal “introductory” facial.



Microdermabrasion Facial

Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment which uses crystals on the skin. It is an ultra-advanced deep exfoliation performed with a jet of micro-crystals vacuumed with a hand piece across the skins’ surface to remove the dead and damaged cells. It softens the appearance of acne scarring and other surface irregularities. A course of treatments will create a healthy look and feel to the skin.

Derma Visage

Experience our advanced Microdermabrasion treatment combining both crystal and diamond tipped dermabrasion. This helps with cell renewal, giving the skin a true energy boost. Our Derma Visage Facial not only uses advanced techniques, but the latest anti ageing skin care as

well. This treatment uses Hibiscin or Ionto ampoules which stimulate and regenerate cells right down at the skin’s deepest level.

Chromatherapy Facial

Acne Treatment

Why not try our advanced Acne Treatment, which improves the skin’s structure. This treatment uses Glycolic cleansers, gels and Enzymatic peeling paste in addition to the benefits of Derma Visage Microdermabrasion and the calming blue Chromatherapy lights. CACI (Computer Aided Cosmetology Instrument)

The Belmore Centre is now able to offer this non-surgical facelift system which uses a combination of specific wave forms and frequencies, working in harmony with the body’s own bioelectrical field. CACI transmits tiny electrical impulses and signals which stimulate muscle tone and enhance skin tissue. A key feature of CACI is its’ dual outlets which allow for the simultaneous use of pads and probes, enabling both the face and neck areas to be treated at the same time. CACI can be used to treat poor muscle tone, ageing skin, facial lines and wrinkles.

Pumpkin Peel

New to The Belmore Centre is the Pumpkin Peel. This is a facial peel which uses natural pumpkin pulp containing enzymes, antioxidants, natural fruit acids, AHAs and BHAs (Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids). Use of these ingredients encourages cell turnover so that the skin naturally exfoliates and the antioxidants repair cells damaged by free radicals. This allows fresh, new skin to come to the surface, resulting in clean even-toned, healthier skin. A single treatment will improve the condition of the skin and a course of treatments will maintain that new condition.

The Pumpkin Peel is an ideal treatment for many skin conditions, including hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, acne, ageing skin, skin in need of rejuvenation or simply to maintain a healthy complexion. The Pumpkin Peel can be used in combination with other skin treatments such as microdermabrasion.



Eyebrows

Your eyebrows can be shaped using waxing and tweezers or by threading. If you want to give more definition to your eyebrows, they can be tinted to a suitable colour, either at the same time as being shaped or as an individual treatment.

Eyelashes

Eyelash tinting will help to enhance the general appearance of your eyes, and is especially beneficial if you do not wear much makeup or you play a lot of sport. It is a quick, painless, straightforward procedure. To further enhance the appearance of your eyes, your eyelashes can be permed and tinted as part of the same treatment.

A holistic massage focussing on just the back, neck and shoulders or on the whole body, using preblended oils to increase your health and well-being and to help the body heal itself. This is a great relaxation therapy which can help ease tension, anxiety and stress symptoms and leave you feeling totally relaxed.

Deluxe Back Massage

Let us transport you to another world with our Deluxe Back Massage! An extended version of our Back Massage using relaxing aromatic oils and Swedish massage techniques to treat your back, neck and shoulders. LA Stone Therapy Massage

Hot stones are also used in the L.A.Stone Therapy Massage, where the whole body, head and face are

massaged with a pre-blended oil, using the heated stones to allow the therapist to perform deeper tissue manipulations.

Lava Shell Massage

Or why not try a luxurious Lava Shell Massage? Using 100% natural tiger clam shells containing a heated sachet, we offer 3 treatments using Mango and Green Tea massage oil to compliment the use of the shells. We offer a Back Massage, a Full Body Massage or an “Ultimate Experience” for both the face and body. These deep tissue massages use heated lava shells to achieve a firm deep pressure and treat deep rooted muscle problems. Clarins Body Polish

A body polish is a popular body treatment which exfoliates and hydrates your skin, leaving it smooth and soft.

It is like a facial for the body! The skin is buffed, polished and exfoliated with a revitalising body scrub to remove all dead skin cells. Then a rich Clarins moisturiser is massaged into the whole body to revive, nourish and leave your skin feeling silky smooth.

Chromatherapy Body Treatment

Or you can upgrade to a deluxe treatment, where your hands or feet are covered in warm paraffin wax to soothe away aches and pains and to soften the skin before the manicure or pedicure commences.

A “French” polish can be applied at a small extra cost in any of our manicures or pedicures using a high gloss white nail lacquer and a pink paint to leave the nails looking as good as new!

Airbrushed tanning is the fastest way to a perfect instant tan, leaving you with a streak free and natural looking bronzed colour. Ideal for parties and special occasions!

To get the best result, remember to exfoliate before you come for your spray tan, and wear loose, dark clothing.

St Tropez Cream Tan

Still the bronzing treatment of the stars, this luxurious treatment includes a full body exfoliation

and application of St Tropez cream tan, to result in a rich “I’ve just been on holiday” tan, which looks natural and lasts for 7-10 days.

TANNING

Clarins Top-to-Toe Bronzing

Using Clarins products which contain plant extracts, your body is gently exfoliated and moisturised. The Clarins self tan is then applied to leave you with an all over natural golden tan which develops within 3-4 hours.



HAIR REMOVAL

Electrolysis

This is a method of permanent hair reduction. A sterile needle is inserted into the hair follicle and a current is applied to cut off the blood supply to weaken and eliminate the hair. A consultation will be required prior to treatment.

More permanent hair removal can also be achieved through Laser Hair Removal available at our sister clinic Whitethorn Fields MediClinic (See page 20).

Threading

We also offer the ancient art of threading to tidy your eyebrows or remove hair from the upper lip area.

Don’t forget that you should avoid heat treatments such as using the sunbed before and after waxing.

Waxing

We wax legs, arms, underarms, bikini line, back, chest or eyebrow, lip and chin. We also offer a Brazilian wax (the Landing Strip!) an Intimate Brazilian Wax or a Hollywood if you want to go bare! After gently cleansing the area, we use warm honey wax to remove the hair. We then apply a soothing after wax lotion to help reduce sensitivity and calm the skin.

Aromatherapy

Here we use the therapeutic value of pure essential oils in a massage of the whole body, head and face to balance and treat the mind, body and spirit. Aromatherapy can help in a range of ailments from infections, headaches and depression to stress related complaints. This treatment will leave you feeling relaxed yet revived.

A shorter version of this treatment – Aroma Treatment - is also offered, where essential oils are massaged into the back, head and feet.

Hopi Ear Candles

Hopi Ear Candles are soothing and helpful for earache, headaches and sinusitis, ear noise and stress. The candle is inserted into the ear and lit at one end and, as it burns down, it creates a light suction (chimney effect) generating a massage like effect on the ear drum. This treatment is wonderfully relaxing.



Indian Head Massage

This involves massage of the shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp, face and ears. It helps to balance out any energy imbalances and provide relief from aches and pains, stress symptoms and insomnia. It can also help to increase hair growth.

Reiki

During a Reiki treatment, energy is channelled by the practitioner to help break up energy blockages within the body, allowing healing energy to flow freely in the body, thus assisting it to heal itself on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels.

Reflexology

The theory behind reflexology is that there are reflex points in the feet which relate to specific organs and glands in the body. Caron’s commitment to patient care and aspirations to raise the standards within the medical and cosmetic tattooing industry, mean that she has continually delivered a professional and personalised service to clients in areas including Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

Caron has completed a course in Paramedical tattooing in America, and was one of the first in the UK to provide Areola Restoration to patients who have suffered from breast cancer and have required a reconstruction following a mastectomy.

As well as carrying out a range of cosmetic tattooing and medical tattooing procedures in our dedicated treatment room for satisfied clients over many years, Caron has used her specialist knowledge to run training courses at her own clinic and within hospitals to teach nurses the art of Areola Restoration so that the treatment can become more widely available throughout the country.
