PARISH SACRAMENTAL PROGRAM

PARENTS OF FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CANDIDATES FOR 2018 The time is approaching for the Holy Communion workshops. Because of the large number of people who will be participating (120), we invite you to let the parish know whether you plan to be attending the Monday

night workshops or the Tuesday night workshops. Also, and very importantly, could you please send the parish your preference for which of the two Holy Com-munion Masses you wish your child to make their Communion. Please let the parish know if you prefer: Sunday, May 27 at 11am Mass Or Sunday, June 3 at 11am Mass

The parish needs to ensure that there is a balance to the two Mass numbers, so the earlier you let them know your desired date by email, the better they can plan for your child’s special day.

If there are any children who are in Year Three (eight years of age or older) and who have not yet made their sacrament of Confirmation, please also email Fr Paul at the parish with the name of this child and the parish

will put them on the list for the new group of children who will start their program in the parish in late July through to receiving their confirmation in late August.

8.40am-12.30pm (stall) Thursday 10th May

8.40am-12.30pm (stall) For more information please contact Sarah on 0410 701 515

We hope all families enjoyed the Easter break and were able to soak up some of the atmosphere and festivities associated with the Commonwealth Games!

Lessons resume again this week, or for some classes, early next week. This is a very long term which has a few challenges of public holidays and school commitments thrown in. However, as it is so long, we have plenty of opportunity of conducting all the necessary lessons by rearranging a few days here and there! From the first lesson, all students will take home notices regarding their entry into the Gold Coast Eisteddfod. More details of this will be included in the term newsletter/account which will be issued by email to all families this week. All eisteddfod forms and entry fees MUST be returned to school by

Wednesday 2nd May for students to participate in the event in September, and we request you please give this your immediate attention so your child has the opportunity to perform. Term fees are due and payable by Friday 27th April. This is an exciting term as we plan and work towards presentations in Terms Three and Four.
