What is the user adoption edition of SAP Learning Hub?

The user adoption edition of SAP Learning Hub is one of the most compre-hensive and orchestrated SAP user learning offerings on the market today, combining access to state-of-the-art tools, content, and services in one subscription. The user adoption edition supports two different approaches to learning that help ensure that users are up-to-date and effectively trained. First, “in-application guidance” allows users to learn at the moment of need while carrying out daily tasks and processes in the SAP application. Second, structured and continuous self-study enables users to learn, keep knowledge fresh, and avoid skills leakage.

This edition dramatically cuts the time it takes organizations to create user training by offering standard learning content for SAP solutions. Additionally, as a separate service, organizations can take advantage of content factory services provided by a growing SAP partner ecosystem to create and modify enablement content, e-learning courses, and more, which can then be uploaded to the portal to push out to their end users.

What is the user adoption edition of SAP Learning Hub?

The user adoption edition contains learning content that is relevant for users. To help your workforce learn how to use SAP software more quickly, it offers standard transaction simulations and provides job-specific training scenarios, activities, and support materials – all of which can be used right away.

With the user adoption edition, all the training a user needs, whether about SAP applications or other training content that a large organization provides, is all in one place and accessible whenever your people need it.

How does the user adoption edition of SAP Learning Hub differ from the business user edition?

Both of these editions are aimed at an end-user audience. The standard content contained within the two editions will be identical and will be updated at the same time. The differences are twofold:

• The business user edition is aimed at the individual end user or small groups of individual end users. It is ideal for users who wish to get an introduction to SAP software or deepen their knowledge in specific areas. The user adoption edition is aimed at organizations with larger numbers of end users to whom they wish to offer end-user learning.

• The user adoption edition is customizable and allows customers to include their own content or create and include new content. The business user edition is a public edition and cannot be customized in any way.

Can I create learning material with the user adoption edition of SAP Learning Hub?

Creation and customization of learning materials are key with the user adoption edition, as all SAP software implementations are slightly different. With access to learning tools included as standard, customers can get a head start in creating learning content specific to their implementation and to the needs of their users.

The user adoption edition of SAP Learning Hub offers you the ability to create and produce your own training content and upload it to your private SAP Learning Hub environment through our content uploading service. Companies can create and include role-specific training content for any user. What’s more, customers can create their own curriculums by mixing standard SAP learning content and their own training content to create clear learning paths for their users.

As an optional service, we also collaborate with a network of partners who can support the learning content creation, enabling you to customize content specifically for your organization. This service also includes copyediting, script writing, creation of simulations, and professional voice-over.

Does the user adoption edition of SAP Learning Hub offer social learning opportunities?

Social learning is a critical component of training today. All customers are given a private online learning room as standard, to use as they wish. Additionally, all subscribers have access to the full range of public learning rooms. The learning room functionality supports users with social learning and knowledge sharing. Further, it provides different learning rooms for specific user groups and offers users best-practice templates from SAP. Collaboration with other users has never been so easy.

What does in-application guidance mean?

“In-application guidance” provides the user with on-the-job, real-time direction while working with an SAP application – exactly at the moment he or she needs guidance to execute on a job. Depending on the SAP application and user settings, “in-application guidance” offers context-based information and training content support. All this is complemented by a well-structured, continuous self-study that enables users to learn, keep their knowledge fresh, and avoid skills leakage.

What about role-based learning plans?

Role-based learning capability supports the creation of targeted learning programs that are relevant to users. This means training managers can design learning plans that are focused on the needs of key user groups. To do this, they can use their own content as well as content from SAP. Also, training managers can assign and push learning plans to specific users and user groups while setting due dates for learning plan completion.

Users can filter courses by language, delivery type, solution area, and difficulty level. In addition, users are able to book and consume any training material item without additional workflow steps.

What are the reporting and learning manage-ment functions of the user adoption edition of SAP Learning Hub?

Included is a series of useful reports that provide insights into, for example, learning initiatives, progress, and learning history. This makes the user adoption edition an ideal and user-friendly portal for you to create, manage, assign, and report on your own content. Intuitive, self-service tools enable users to access numerous preconfigured reports. It is also possible to create your own reports and track progress for assigned learning plans.

The user adoption edition provides the following standard reports: • Account data – Displays all users of SAP Learning Hub on one report • Learning history – Displays all courses marked complete within SAP Learning Hub
