About NHCE

New Horizon College of Engineering is an Autonomous college afliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). About the Department

From the very inception of the college in 2001, The Department of Mechanical Engineering unique in its own way has been instrumental in molding multitude of engineers. The Department which began with student’s strength of 45 at the UG level now boasts of 180 student’s under its tutelage. Two PG programs were initiated i.e., Aeronautical Engineering and Machine Design. The Department has undertaken a number of projects in the emerging elds of robotics, rapid prototyping, surface engineering and non-conventional energy with assistance from the Vision Group Department of Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka. The Department comprises of highly talented & experienced faculty members who are committed to their work and is equipped with state of art facility for full and part time research scholars.
