Kentucky Memorial for the Unborn The Kentucky Memorial for the Unborn is seeking 10 in-scription orders for the next engraving*! Deadline is September 30, 2016. The Kentucky Memorial for the Unborn is an outreach to mothers, fathers and other family members who carry unresolved grief due to the loss of an unborn child. This place of healing is located in the historic Frankfort Cemetery on a bluff that overlooks the Kentucky River and the Capitol. If you would like to honor your baby on the Memorial’s granite wall, please visit our website at www.KyMemorialfortheUnborn.org and click on “Honor a Child.” *Each inscription is engraved in a 3”x10” space and contains two lines of text with 21 characters per line. The cost to engrave each two line inscription is $100 or $75 if someone has participated in a healing retreat. Ten orders must be received by the deadline in order for the engravers to inscribe the messages. Donations are welcomed.

9/11 Interfaith Memorial Service On the 15th Anniversary of the Terrorist Attacks Sunday, September 11 at 4:00 PM Saint Paul Church, West Short Street, Lexington Rabbi Moshe Smolkin will chant the Prayer of the Fallen. The celebration begins with Mass at 5:00 p.m. with Bishop Stowe, OFM Conv. presiding, followed by a reception in Hehman Hall.
