FOR SALE – 1981 ANTONIO MARIN-MONTERO CONCERT GUITAR 65cm, spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back/sides, Honduran cedar neck. French polish redone by Marin in 1993, machine heads replaced by Fleta workshop in Barcelona. A few minor marks, but NO repairs or cracks!! Pegasus flight case. THE INSTRUMENT’S PROVENANCE:

This particular instrument is discussed by Graham Wade on p. 38 of John Morrish’s definitive book, “The Classical Guitar Book: A Complete History”, which features chapters on every major luthier, including Robert Bouchet, who collaborated with Antonio Marin Montero between 1979-1981.

The 1981 Marin guitar is clearly identifiable in both the front and back cover art.
