En esta antologa vas a ver la historia de pink floyd.Que es un grupo musical que por su letray sus canciones me han honrado y puestosde distintos estados de animo, estascanciones son un poco antiguas por loque por mi mismo no las hubieradescubierto y lo conoc por medio de mihermano de edad mayor que le gusta elheavy metal, rock, rock clsico al igualque a mi. Eso en verdad se lo agradezcoy por esto esta antologa se la voy adedicar a el.

Es el cuarto lbum de estudio de la band Pink Floyd, un lbum doble. El primero es un disco en directo, y el segundo es un disco en estudio, en el que cada integrante compuso un tema solista. El ttulo del disco proviene supuestamente de una palabra utilizada por estudiantes en Cambridge que significa "tener sexo"

Atom Heart Motheres el quintolbumde la banda britnicaPink Floyd. Un trabajo que muestra un alejamiento delrock psicodlicopara entrar en elsinfnicoy elprogresivo.Corra el ao 1970 y la banda sostena el sonido que aos antes haba logrado. Con la separacin deSyd Barrett, los integrantes de la banda deciden seguir la carrera cuesta arriba.La primera cancin del disco llamadaAtom Heart Mother, una composicin musical en donde se muestra la perspicacia de los sonidos de cada uno de los integrantes. Este tema ocupa el primer lado entero delLP, repitiendo patrones de la banda por largas composiciones instrumentales. Esta pieza no iba a ser orquestada originalmente. Hasta el momento en que reunieron todo el trabajo realizado, la idea de orquestarla no surgi.Ron Geesinse encarg de la orquestacin, y tuvo serios problemas con la banda. Abandon el proyecto sin que fuera completado, y lo finalizJohn Aldiss. Originalmente se iba a llamarThe Amazing Pudding, pero era un ttulo que no los convenca,Ron Geesinles sugiri a la banda que leyeran algn diario para ver si les inspiraba un nombre. FueRoger Watersquien al hojear un ejemplar delEvening Standardencontr una noticia acerca de una mujer embarazada que haba sido sometida a una operacin de corazn, y tena un marcapasos atmico. Su ttulo,Atom Heart Mothersirvi para rebautizar tanto el tema como el lbum. La cancin est divida en partes debido a que en el momento en que fue editada se cobraban derechos de autor dependiendo de la cantidad de temas del disco.

Meddle

Meddlees el sextolbum de estudiode la bandabritnicaderock progresivoPink Floyd, editado en octubre de1971. Se grab en variosestudios de grabacinde la zona deLondres, incluyendo losestudios Abbey Road. Sin material nuevo con el cual trabajar y sin tener una idea clara de la direccin que queran que tomase el lbum, la banda desarroll una serie de novedosos experimentos que finalmente sirvieron de inspiracin para la pista ms conocida del lbum, "Echoes". Aunque muchos de los lbumes siguientes del grupo se centraban en unatemtica nicacon letras escritas mayoritariamente porRoger Waters,Meddlefue un esfuerzo grupal concontribuciones lricasde cada miembro.Al no poseer un tema central para el proyecto, usaron varios experimentos en un intento divergente de estimular el proceso creativo. Uno de estos ejercicios trataba de que cada miembro trabajase en una pista distinta sin ninguna referencia de lo que hacan los dems. Eltempoera totalmente aleatorio mientras la banda tocaba sobre una estructura deacordesprogramado, con ideas como "los primeros dos minutos romnticos, los siguientes dos subimos el tempo". Se grab y etiquet todo, pero el proceso fue improductivo; despus de varias semanas no se consigui completar ninguna cancin.

Obscured By Cloudses el sptimolbumde la banda britnicaPink Floyd.Banda sonorade la pelcula francesaEl valle, dirigida porBarbet Schroeder. Es el segundo proyecto de banda sonora, luego deMusic from the Film More. Este disco no sigue la lnea musical que la banda traa hasta el momento, pero ayud mucho al xito en Estados Unidos al haber enfocado buena parte de la gira pre-Dark Side of the Moon. Este disco es un punto de inflexin en la carrera de Pink Floyd, en el tema "Wot's... Uh The Deal" (Qu es...? ah, El Negocio) se toca el tema de que la banda estaba creciendo, cambiando sus actitudes hacia el negocio de la msica, ellos ya eran hombres de familia.A travs de estos aspectos del disco se pueden ver las races de su siguiente discoDark Side Of The Moon."Free Four" es la primera cancin que enfoca el tema de la muerte del padre deRoger Waters, Eric Fletcher Waters. El tema "Obscured By Clouds", que da nombre al lbum, fue usualmente utilizado para comenzar conciertos. Se dice que la cancin "Childhood's End" fue inspirada por la novela deArthur C. Clarkede mismo nombre. Adems posee dos primeros temas firmados en conjunto por Wright y Waters, siendo el tercero la mtica pieza "Us & Them". En todos esos letras Wright es el compositor y Waters el letrista.

El lbum est construido a partir de las ideas que Pink Floyd haba explorado en sus conciertos y anteriores grabaciones, pero carece de los largos instrumentales que caracterizaban a los trabajos posteriores a la marcha en 1968 de su miembro fundador, principal compositor y letrista,Syd Barrett.La temtica del lbum incluye el conflicto, la avaricia, el envejecimiento y laenfermedad mental, tema este ltimo inspirado en parte por el deterioro mental de Barrett.The Dark Side of the Moonse construy a partir de experimentos hechos por Pink Floyd en conciertos y en grabaciones previas, pero sin las extensas piezas instrumentales que, segn el crticoDavid Fricke, se haban convertido en una caracterstica de la banda desde la marcha del miembro fundador Syd Barrett en 1968. Su temtica explora la ausencia, la industria musical y los problemas mentales del anterior miembro de la bandaSyd Barrett. Las sesiones de grabacin fueron arduas y complicadas, en parte por la idea deRoger Watersde dividir la cancin "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" en dos, para despus unir cada mitad con tres nuevas composiciones. "Shine On" es un tributo a Barrett, quien, irnicamente, se present en los estudios el 5 de junio mientras se grababa. A pesar de que para este nuevo movimiento musical el xito de Waters poda jugar en su contra, sus preocupaciones sobre las desigualdades, los prejuicios, y las actitudes sociopolticas de la poca no estaban muy alejadas de las que expresaban las nuevas bandas. Animalsest basado en trminos generales, en lafbulapoltica deGeorge Orwell,Animal Farm, donde varias castas de la sociedad estn representadas a travs de diferentes animales:perroscomo los representantes de la ley,cerdoscomo implacables mandatarios yovejascomo peones descerebrados. Mientras la novela se enfoca en elcomunismo, el lbum es una crtica directa alcapitalismoy, a pesar de que ambos abogan por los ideales delsocialismo democrtico, el lbum difiere en que al final las ovejas se rebelan para dominar a sus opresores.

Se trata de unlbum conceptualy es el ltimo de la banda en contar con la participacin deRoger Waters, quien aparece acreditado comocompositoryletristade todas las canciones del disco.The Final Cutes unlbum conceptualantiblico con elementos depera rock. Las letras de Waters exploran lo que l considera la traicin hacia los militares britnicos cados, como su padre, quienes durante laSegunda Guerra Mundialsacrificaron su vida por el espritu del sueo de laposguerra. Este "sueo" era que la victoria hara del mundo un sitio ms pacfico, en el cual los mandatarios no querran volver a entrar endisputas blicas. Las letras son crticas contraMargaret Thatcher, cuyas polticas y decisiones fueron vistas por Waters como un ejemplo de traicin. Se refiere a ella como "Maggie" a lo largo del lbum.

Se lanz un 28 marzo de 1994 en el Reino Unido a travs deEMI Recordsy un 4 de abril del mismo ao enEstados Unidosa travs deColumbia Records. Es el segundo lbum de estudio que no cuenta con la presencia delbajistaoriginalRoger Waters.Gran parte del lbum trata sobre temas relacionados con la comunicacin, es decir, la idea de que muchos de los problemas de la vida se pueden solventar con el dilogo. Canciones como "Poles Apart" y "Lost for Words" a veces son interpretadas como referencias al largo distanciamiento entre el antiguo miembro Roger Waters y Pink Floyd, aunque Gilmour ha negado que el lbum sea unaalegorasobre dicha separacin. En 1994 dijo: "La gente puede inventar y relacionar una cancin de forma personal, pero ya es un poco tarde para intentar hacer magia con lo de Roger.
