By bidding at this auction the bidder agrees to the following Terms and Conditions

1 All buyers must register before the auction in order to bid.

2 This auction is being run under the Auctioneers Act 2013.

3 A buyer’s premium of 15% plus GST is payable by the successful bidder in addition to the hammer price of any lot. This adds 17.25% to the hammer price of a lot. The hammer price is GST inclusive. Only the buyers premium is plus GST. Example, An item has a hammer price of $100, the buyers premium will be $15 plus $2.25 GST, (total $117.25).

4 Items must be paid for and removed on the day of the auction. Whangarei Auctions reserves the right to sell items not paid for and collected on the day of the auction to another buyer and recover any shortfall from the original buyer. Buyers will need to bring their own boxes and packaging to pack the auction lots that they win.

5 Buyers must be 18 years of age or older to register and bid at the auction.

6 The buyer understands that the items in this auction are owned by private vendor. The vendor is not a trader.

7 All items are sold as is where is. No warranty is given by either the Vendor or Whangarei Auctions Ltd and no refunds will be given. The buyer is deemed to have inspected any items they bid on and have made their decision to purchase based upon their own judgement.

8 Although Whangarei Auctions Ltd has taken every care in the preparation of the catalogue neither Whangarei Auctions nor its vendor are responsible for any errors of description or omissions.

9 Items can be paid for by cash, Eftpos, Visa and MasterCard. The buyer agrees to pay an additional 3% credit card fee for any items paid for by Visa and/or MasterCard. Cheques are not accepted.

10 No sold items are to be collected during the auction. After the auction, buyers are to hand their paid receipt to a staff member who will give the items to the buyer. The Buyer is not to take or touch any items without a staff member present.
