Till ansökan ska bifogas- CV och publiceringslista för betygsledamot som inte är docent eller professor vid ett svenskt lärosäte- jävsdeklarationer från opponent, betygsnämndsledamöter och reservledamot skall bifogas- om monografiavhandling: skriftliga omdömen från bedömare vid slutseminariet- om förhandsgranskning krävts: förhandsgranskningsprotokoll och huvudhandledarens yttrande.- LADOK-utdrag (gäller ej LTV-fakulteten)- Kursintyg för avklarade kurser som ej getts på SLU (gäller endast VH-fakulteten)- 1-2 sidor sammanfattning av avhandlingen, inklusive ingående delarbeten (gäller endast VH-fakulteten)

Regler för opponent och betygsnämnd vid disputation (från SLU:s riktlinjer för utbildning på forskarnivå)

- Betygsnämnd vid disputation ska bestå av 3 eller 5 ledamöter. Om betygsnämnden har tre ledamöter ska enreservledamot utses.- Båda könen ska vara representerade som ordinarie ledamöter i betygsnämnden. Fakultetsnämnden kan medgeundantag om det finns särskilda skäl.- Opponenten ska ha doktorsexamen.- Ordförande ska vara anställd vid SLU.- Betygsnämndens ledamöter ska ha doktorsexamen och majoriteten av dem ska vara antagna som docent ellerha en vetenskaplig kompetens som enligt fakultetsnämndens bedömning motsvarar den som krävs för att bliantagen som docent inom relevant ämne.- Betygsnämnden vid disputation ska ha minst en ledamot som inte är verksam vid SLU och som är anställd vid ettannat universitet än SLU. En ledamot kan vara anställd vid samma fakultet men inte samma institution somdoktoranden tillhör.- Reservledamot utses om betygsnämnden ska bestå av tre ledamöter och kan vara anställd vid samma institutionsom doktoranden tillhör.

Regler för ordförande och betygsnämnd vid licentiatseminarium (från SLU:s riktlinjer för utbildning på forskarnivå)

- Betygsnämnd vid licentiatseminarium består av tre ledamöter och en reservledamot.- Båda könen ska vara representerade bland de ordinarie ledamöterna. Fakultetsnämnden kan medge undantagom det finns särskilda skäl.- Ordförande vid licentiatseminarium ska vara anställd vid SLU.- Ledamöterna ska ha doktorsexamen och minst en ska vara anställd vid annan fakultet än doktoranden. Enledamot kan vara anställd vid samma institution som doktoranden tillhör.

Required attachments for the application for dissertation/lic-sem

The application must be accompanied by- A CV and list of publications for any examining committee member who is not a docent or professor at aSwedish higher education institution;- conflict of interest declarations submitted by opponent, all examining committee members and stand-in memberof evaluation committee;- if monograph thesis: written assessments submitted by evaluators at the final seminar;- if pre-examination has been needed: report and a statement by the principal supervisor.- Excerpt from LADOK (NOT needed for the LTV-faculty)- Copies of course certificates for courses not taken at SLU (ONLY needed for the VH-faculty)- A summary of 1-2 A4 pages on the thesis, including papers (ONLY needed for the VH-faculty

Rules regarding opponent and examining committee during dissertation (from the SLU guidelines for doctoral education)

- The examining committee is composed of three or five members. If the examining committee has threemembers, a reserve member must be appointed.- Both sexes must be represented as full members of the examining committee. The faculty board may grantexemption if there are particular reasons for so doing.- The opponent must have a PhD degree and the chair must be employed at SLU.- Examining committee members must have PhDs, and the majority of them must have been admitted as docentor possess scientific competence considered by the faculty board to be equivalent to that required to be admittedas a docent in the relevant subject. The examining committee present at the defence of the thesis must have atleast one member who does not work at SLU and who is employed at a university other than SLU. A membermay be employed at the same faculty but not in the same department as the doctoral student.- A reserve member is appointed if the examining committee is to be composed of three members, and may beemployed at the same department as the doctoral student.

Rules regarding chair person and examining committee during licentiate seminar (from the SLU guidelines for doctoral education)

- The examining committee is composed of three members and a reserve member.- Both sexes must be represented as full members of the examining committee. The faculty board may grantexemption if there are particular reasons for so doing.- The chair of the licentiate seminar must be employed at SLU.- Examining committee members must have PhDs, and at least one of them must be employed at a faculty otherthan the licentiate student. One member may be employed in the same department as the licentiate student.
