Camera Installation Tips

1.1 License plate tilt angle must be within +/-5 degrees.

1.2 License plate width should be not less than 130 pixels on frame.

The view distance based on the camera’s focal length, to get enough pixels in the frame, you should select a proper lens. Refer to the table below to select a proper lens.

1.4 Measure the detection range

The installer can measure the detection range(L) using a Pythagorean equation. Then you can detect passing vehicles and capture the license plates in this position. L = (square root of 3)*h = 1.7*H
