Art Classes with Garrett Etsitty November 4 & 18, 2016 4:00 -6:00 p.m. 1200 Yarmouth

This class is an introduction to art and an opportunity to learn about Southwestern and Hip Hop art. Participants will be introduced to basic painting techniques, art tools, basic vocabulary, and encouraged to acquire new skills through this activity-based studio art class. We will explore printmaking, charcoal drawing, painting, design, watercolors, sculpture, stained glass, and more. Color theory will be discussed; we will learn about primary, secondary, cool, and warm colors. Participants will be given the opportunity to explore, create, and achieve. Hopefully we will have an Art Show open to the public, so that community members may gain recognition for their achievements.

After Hours Social Club

After Hours Social Club is a place to gather, to share gifts, musical or otherwise, with friends and community members. Bring a song, poem or a joke to share on the Social Club stage. Or, just come by to enjoy the Social Club “vibe”. It’s an evening of creative sharing and fun.

Hero’s Journey of Recovery Dialogues

Tuesdays & Thursdays 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. With JoAnn and Judy Starts November 8 (no class November 24, Thanksgiving Day) Building upon the Hero’s Journey class we welcome old and new students to join us in sharing their experiences of the recovery journey. We will use video clips, poetry, art work and discussion to inspire us throughout the stages of their journey. Fellow travelers will be invited to reflect upon their adventures and share the powerful insights, knowledge and skills gained.

Windhorse Movie Night

November 15, 2016 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. 1200 Yarmouth at the WCS Cineplex Join us for an evening of drama, comedy and fun! We’ll have popcorn, snacks and beverages. The movie choice will be determined soon.

Friday Volunteer Group

Starts November 11, 2016 1:30 – 4:00 Hosted by Stephanie and Lydia We are going to be working with Sunrise of Boulder, an assisted living center right down the road. We will meet each Friday at 1200 Yarmouth at 1:30 and head over to spend time with the residents from 2 – 4. We will be serving tea, baking and partaking in other holiday festivities with the folks at Sunrise. Please join us in getting to know your neighbors and giving back!

Family Support Group
