I take this opportunity to laud the sincere efforts and hard work of the students and teachers for making this possible. CBSE RESULT AISSCE 2019 Indeed a very proud moment for Cambridge School, Noida. For two consecutive years Cambridge School, Noida has been in the news for securing All India rank in the AISSCE. This year Aditi Singhal of the Humanities stream brought laurels to the school by securing the All India 4th rank in the AISSCE -2019 (CBSE class XII) Board Examination. Aditi, the school topper scored an aggregate of 99.2% with a perfect hundred in Political Science, Psychology and History and 98 in Entrepreneurship and English. Of the 143 students who appeared for the examination, 47 students scored an aggregate of more than 90% while 137 students secured a first division. 30 students have secured a perfect hundred in subjects like English, Psychology, Economics, Legal Studies, History, Political Science and Biology. Political Science ADITI SINGHAL 100 CBSE RESULTS AISSE 2019 Another year has gone past and it is time once again to celebrate the outstanding performance of the students in the AISSE (Class X Board Exams) 2019 for achieving excellent results. Students came out with flying colours and added to the glory of Cambridge School, Noida. With an aggregate of 99 % Sanvi Verma is the School Topper in the AISSE 2019 having scored a perfect 100 in Mathematics followed closely by Selina Varshney who with an aggregate of 98.8% scored a perfect hundred in Science and Social Science. It is heartening to note that 26 students have scored a perfect 100 in different subjects.

Of the 177 students who appeared for the AISSE 2019, 92 students scored an aggregate of more than 90% while 176 were placed in the First Division.

FUNCTIONS / EVENTS
We at Cambridge School, Noida have always been committed to create an environment in the school which helps the young minds to blossom and also believe in providing a platform for individual thinking and holistic development of a child’s

personality. With this objective in mind the school organised a plethora of events during the session 2018-19. TREE PLANTATION RALLY A conscious effort undertaken towards creating a greener environment and providing unstinted support to the 15th August initiative of the UP government to plant 9 crore trees, students of Cambridge School, Noida undertook a tree plantation rally on 14thAugust, 2018. SCHOLAR BADGE CEREMONY To honour and recognize the efforts of the students for their academic performance in the session 2017-18, Scholar Badge Ceremony was held in the school during assembly on Monday, 20th August 2018 (Classes VI –VII) and on Tuesday, 21st August, 2018 (Classes VIII to XI). A total of around 120 students of classes VI –X and class XI having secured above 91% and above 81% respectively in their final term of session 2017-2018 were felicitated with a scholar badge and a certificate. MAGIC SHOW A Magic Show by magician, G.S Samrat was organized at Cambridge School, Noida on 8th October, 2018.The students of Classes VI and VII watched the show with great curiosity and were amazed to see some incredible magic tricks. It was a lively and fun filled magic show which was thoroughly enjoyed by the students. TECHNOLYMPICS Cambridge School, Noida hosted the Inter School Infotech festival, TECHNOLYMPICS on 31st October, 2018. This is an IT based competition in which various tech savvy children get a chance to showcase their talents. About 30 schools from NCR and Delhi participated in this mega event. CHILDREN’S DAY As part of Children's Day celebration on 14th November, 2018, various activities were conducted to mark the occasion. Educational trips were organised for Classes VI, VIII and XII. CELEBRATION OF QUAMI EKTA WEEK Quami Ekta Week or National Integration Week which was observed all over the country from 19th to 25th November, 2018 to reinforce the spirit of communal harmony, national integration and pride in our vibrant composite culture and nationhood, culminated in a festival of Inter-School Competitions in Literary, Art and Cultural activities – IMAGE based on the theme Quest or Anveshan at Cambridge School, Noida.

CULTURAL INTER-SCHOOL FESTIVAL: IMAGE Cambridge School, Noida organised IMAGE- a two day festival of Inter-School Competitions in Literary, Art and Cultural activities on the theme The Quest : Anveshan. Students from nearly 30 prestigious schools of Noida and NCR participated in the two day extravaganza on 28th and 29th November, 2018. IMAGE, a milestone festival of Cambridge School, Noida is being held with great zeal and gusto for the last twenty nine years. LINGUISTIC DIVERSITY - BHASHA SANGAM A celebration of Linguistic Diversity Bhasha Sangam initiated by the Department of School Education and Literacy was conducted at Cambridge School, Noida from 20th November to 21st December, 2018. Under this programme which marks the appreciation of the unique symphony of languages of our country, various activities were conducted in the school. BOOK FAIR Book Fairs play a huge role in encouraging the reading habit among people of all age groups. A Book Fair was organized for parents & students of Classes VI to XI at Cambridge School, Noida on the day of PTM on 19thJanuary, 2019. ART OF WAR A presentation on the Art of War was organized at Cambridge School, Noida on 22nd January, 2019. It was conducted by Wing Commander (Dr) Gora Pathak, Orthopaedic surgeon who is a consultant at Fitzwilliam Hospital in Peterborough, U.K. REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS 2019 Cambridge School, Noida celebrated the 70th Republic Day of the nation in right earnest on 26th January, 2019. A special assembly comprising students, teachers and parents was conducted to mark the occasion. BIDDING ADIEU TO STUDENTS OF CLASS XII On 2nd February, 2019, Cambridge School, Noida bid farewell to the batch of 2018-19. Bidding adieu to the outgoing batch of Class XII was a combination of happy, sad and proud moment for the entire school. AISSCE, AISSE – 2019 · Cambridge School, Noida was a centre for AISSCE – 2019 and AISSE- 2019. A total of 850 candidates appeared from the centre. 332 students appeared for AISSCE – 2019 and 518 students for AISSE-2019. The duration of the examinations was from 12th March, 2019 to 2nd April, 2019. · Cambridge School, Noida was the evaluation centre for AISSCE – 2019 and AISSE – 2019 for about 14 subjects.

INTERACT CLUB ACTIVITIES ‘The happiest are those who lose themselves in the service of others’ – Gordon B. Hinchley Ø DISTRICT INTERACT LEADERSHIP ASSEMBLY (DILA)
Thirty two Interact club students of Classes IX, X and XI of Cambridge School, Noida attended the District Interact Leadership Assembly on 11th October 2018. Ambika Sharma ZIR ZONE1 of Cambridge School, Noida was given the badge along with other ZIRs.
Ø VISIT TO GOONJ As part of community service programme, ten students of Class X of Cambridge School, Noida visited GOONJ, an NGO on 26th October, 2018.
Ø VISIT TO INDIRA MARKET A group of students of Class IX who are members of the Interact Club, Cambridge School, Noida visited Indira Market on November 16, 2018 and distributed paper bags made by them to the street vendors.
Ø NO IDLING CAMPAIGN Lung Care Foundation, an NGO committed for care and cure of 2.6 billion lungs in the country along with Bal Bharati Public School had organized a No Idling Campaign on 19th December, 2018.
Ø VISIT TO Dr. B.R AMBEDKAR HOSPITAL On 21st December 2018, the members of Interact Club paid a visit to Dr. B.R Ambedkar Hospital, Sec-30 Noida and distributed juice cartons and Get Well Soon cards to the patients.
Ø VISIT TO INDIA INTERNATIONAL CENTRE
On 21st December, 2018, six students from the Interact Club went to the India International Centre for an event organized by the Toy Bank. The event focused on what role a toy plays in developing a child’s mental, creative and eye and hand coordination.
Ø DONATION OF WOOLLEN CLOTHES IN SLUM AREA. On 26th December, 2018, ten students of classes IX and XI went to the slum area located in Sector 44, Noida (U.P.) to donate woollen clothes.
.SPACE EXPLORERS WORKSHOP
· The second workshop of series Gnomon- The Magic Wand of Astronomers was conducted in Cambridge School, Noida on 16th January, 2019.

· The third session of the Astronomy workshops was conducted in the school on 23rd January 2019 on the topic – Fingerprints of the Universe.
INAUGURATION OF ROBOTICS PROGRAMME
Robotics programme has been introduced in Cambridge School, Noida as a part of Atal Tinkering Laboratories or ATL initiative. Robotics with a vision to cultivate one million children in India as Neoteric Innovators, Atal Innovation Mission has established Atal Tinkering Laboratories (ATLs) in schools across India. · Robotics classes for students of VI-VIII were held in the Atal Tinkering Laboratory
in the Senior Wing of Cambridge School Noida from November 2018 to February 2019.
· The projects and activities on diverse concepts of science were showcased on 13th March 2019 in the ATL in the school.

NCC ‘A’ CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION: NCC ‘A’ certificate examination for 37UPBNNCC was held on 3rdMarch, 2019 at Cambridge School, Noida.
INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARD Cambridge School, Noida received the coveted British Council International School Award on 5th December, 2018, in a glittering ceremony at The Leela Ambience, Delhi.
GLOBAL CONNECT · INTERACTION WITH STUDENTS FROM UKRAINE AND PALESTINE
In continuation with our school’s endeavour to provide students a platform for international exposure, the students of Classes X, XI and XII interacted with students from Ukraine and Palestine via video conferencing on 27thSeptember, 2018.
· INTERACTION WITH STUDENTS FROM EGYPT The students of Classes IX and XI interacted with students from Egypt via video conferencing on 19th December 2018.
· INTERACTION WITH STUDENTS FROM INDONESIA On 30th January 2019, students from Classes IX and XI of Cambridge School, Noida interacted with students from Indonesia and India via video conferencing.
MUSICAL CONCERTS
‘Music touches us emotionally where words alone can’t – Johnny Depp · A musical concert which was held on 7th September, 2018 at Cambridge School,
Noida was an interesting amalgamation of various musical melodies. Students and teachers of senior and junior wing of Cambridge School, Noida and

Cambridge School, Indirapuram showcased their talent in varied performances like dance, classical music, and instrumental recitals.
· To usher in the season of harvest yet another Musical Concert was conducted by the students of Junior and Senior wing of Cambridge School, Noida on 15thJanuary, 2019.
· If Winter Comes, Can Spring be far behind ……. and on that note a musical extravaganza was organised on 14th February, 2019 at Cambridge School, Noida.
SPIC MACAY
‘Have every child experience the inspiration and mysticism embodied in Indian and World heritage’
· Cambridge School, Noida under the aegis of SPICMACAY, hosted a repertoire of Indian Classical Vocal Music by the renowned vocalist Ms. Sunanda Sharma on 19th November, 2018.
· Cambridge School, Noida under the aegis of SPICMACAY, hosted a violin recital by the renowned violinist Mr. Johar Ali Khan on 16th April, 2019.
ORIENTATION PROGRAMMES
We firmly believe that positive communication between parents and teachers goes a long way in improving the efficacy of education. We try to ensure active participation of parents in the teaching learning process. We understand the importance of a child’s holistic development and the sensitive role of parents needs to play along with teachers. THEATRE IN EDUCATION ‘Creativity can flourish, academics can improve and means of self-expression can be developed.’ Theatre as an art form has been a wonderful tool to create lasting impressions in a young mind. We firmly believe that if we incorporate this in education the results would be incredible. Some attempts made by us last year are as follows:

Ø THEATRE IN EDUCATION : HINDI Theatre in Education was organized by the students of Class VII, Cambridge School, Greater Noida on 4th September, 2018 on the topic Mithaiwala.The Resource person was Ms. Sonia Verma.Four students of Class VII E of Cambridge School, Noida participatedin this event. Ø FACING CHALLENGES As a curriculum subject, theatre uses various dramatic elements such as movement, voice, concentration, improvisation and role play to aid the personal development of the student. Keeping this thought in mind students of class VII prepared a theatre presentation on the topic Facing Challenges. Ø BUSINESS STUDIES Theatre in Education on the topic Small Business was conducted by the students of class XI A and B (Commerce sections) on 13thNovember, 2018. Ø ELECTORAL POLITICS In the theatre presentation held on 21st January, 2019 on the topic Electoral Politics fifty two students of class IX participated.

Staying updated is the key to success in any field, especially in education. Teachers have one of the most demanding vocations in the world and in order to fulfil their role with excellence they need training, motivation as well as regular mental, emotional and spiritual rejuvenation. SEMINARS FOR STUDENTS
G.D GOENKA FOREIGN LANGUAGE WEEK On 31st October, 2018, G.D Goenka Foreign language Week was organized at G.D. Goenka Public School, Greater Noida. There were two major events- Modenshau and Chasse au Schatz. Six students from Cambridge School, Noida, four from French language and two from German language participated in the events. PSYNERGY FEST The students of Cambridge School, Noida participated in the Psynergy Fest organised at Cambridge School, Indirapuram on 31st October, 2018. ATAL TINKERING LABORATORY (ATL) Ø On 4th December, 2018, students of Class VIII performed group activities. They
made an electroscope, opened a speaker to study its parts, worked on the design to make a Hydraulic pump etc.
Ø On 6th December, 2018, four students of Class VIII worked to make a Telsa Coil. They learned to identify resistors by the colour and bands on them.
AUTHOR INTERACTION (LORD JEFFREY ARCHER) 30 students of Cambridge school, Noida along with 3 teachers went to meet the legendary author, Lord Jeffrey Archer at Pathways School on 28th January, 2019. All the students and teachers got an autograph from the author on his latest book, Heads you Win.

It gives the students a chance to build closer bonds with their classmates, experience and explore new environments and enjoy a day away from the classroom. COMPETITIONS NATIONAL SCIENCE OLYMPIAD Yashaswi Jain of Class VIB from Cambridge School, Noida won the Gold Medal, Certificate and a cash award of Rs. 5000 in the second level of National Science Olympiad. ECONOMICS OLYMPIAD An Economics Olympiad was conducted on 27th November, 2018at All India level for class XII in which 65 leading schools of Delhi and NCR region participated. Ashit Barua got the third rank at the state level. He was awarded a trophy, cash prize and a certificate. Malvika PM got a silver and Gunika Vij a bronze medal. 38 students were given certificates of merit. INTACH HERITAGE QUIZ 2018 (NATIONAL SEMI FINAL ROUND) On 5th December, 2018 the National Semi Final Round of the INTACH HERITAGE QUIZ 2018 was organized by INTACH INDIA, DELHI at 71, Lodi Estate, New Delhi 110003. Saurabh Mahapatra of Class X C and Shashwat Mehrotra of Class X E, (winners of Delhi-NCR round) participated with 21 other teams from different parts of the country. The team secured the position of 3rd runner up in the semi-final round.

GARDEN COMPETITION On 30th January 2019, a team of five students and the school gardener of Cambridge School, Noida escorted by Ms. Promila Garyali, went to Cambridge School Srinivaspuri to participate in the Inter-school theme based Garden Competition and Quiz organized by the host school. Riddhima Gupta, Nikitashree Paruvada and Kanak Mogha of Class IX D along with the gardener Mr. Sukhpal created a beautiful model garden on the theme Healing Garden under the guidance of Ms. Susmita Dey and Ms. Promila Garyali. Navya Chandra and Vrinda Goel of VIII A participated in the Quiz and bagged the first position and the trophy.
SPORTS
To inculcate skills like team work, leadership and patience the school encourages students to participate in various sports & games. The students participated in a number of competitions and brought laurels to the school. INTER SCHOOL BOXING Sharanya Rastogi of Class VII D, Cambridge School, Noida participated in the Inter School Boxing Tournament held at Rabindranath World School, Gurugram on 15th January, 2019. She won the Gold Medal in the 46-48 Kg weight category and also won a trophy for being adjudged the Best Female Boxer. 1st NMAK PATAUDI INTER SCHOOL CRICKET TOURNAMENT The 1st NMAK Pataudi Interschool Cricket Tournament was held from 18th April, 2019 to 1st May, 2019 in which 12 top teams of NCR participated. Cambridge School, Noida emerged as the victorious team winning thefinals by 8 wickets. Yash Gupta of Class IX was adjudged the Man of the Match and Best Batsman of the tournament. He was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 5100/- and each player of the winning team was gifted a cricket kit bag.Cambridge School, Noida has the distinctive honour of winning the inaugural NMAK Pataudi Inter School Cricket Rolling Trophy for the year 2019.
