Feedback on Socials• Team building and mixed socials seem popular

• AP – to have a social secretary from each team next season, to form larger social committee

• More advanced warning of socials• AP – Social dates will appear on-line from first month of season – 3

socials each half-season and early details published

• Non drink orientated socials• AP – New committee to work with teams to create more sober social

days out including activity days

Page 18: Annual General Meeting

Coaching – How do we rate?

Page 19: Annual General Meeting

Coaching Comments• Ladies’ 1s & 2s

• Strengths – great ability to motivate, enthusiastic, excellent knowledge of players, extremely dedicated

• Need to improve – more realistic game situations plus specific skill training, match day attendance

• Ladies’ 3s & 4s• Strengths – infallible commitment and great enthusiasm, regular match

day attendance, willing to work with individuals• Need to improve – balanced working with both sides, differentiating

skills in training, more positive reinforcement during coaching

• Men’s teams• Strengths – knowledge of the game, good skill sessions, great

commitment, good drills• Need to improve – more specific coaching by team, goal keeper training

Page 20: Annual General Meeting

Coaching Action Points• New rules specify that we have to have a Level 2 coach at

least “over-seeing” the session• We hope to have professional coaching for the three

coaching groups for next season – are actively recruiting to address this

• Specifically in the men’s section the following has been suggested:

• Combined training for at least half the training session; if the group splits a men’s 1st team player will work with the other XIs on team specific exercises

• The men’s 1st XI to pay £325 (almost 20% increase) as subscriptions for the year to reflect the increased coaching input they receive – to be paid by those playing at least a half season

Page 21: Annual General Meeting

The Duke of Cambridge• Currently gives us:

• £2,500 per year in cold hard cash• 20% off all food (except Sundays)• 20% of Fosters and Snakebite jugs• Man of the Match/ Dick of the Day shot/pint• Could put a shed out back for kit

• We give them:• First dibs on hosting our socials• We pay market rate for teas there and are supposed to head there after

home fixtures• We have to have the Christmas social there• We are supposed to have their name on an item of clothing
