Annual Day Celebrations (19 th March 2019) Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Institutions (SVEI) celebrated the Annual Day with fervor and gaiety. The celebration began with the dance performance by the students invocating the Lord Shiva followed by the annual report of SVEI by Mr. Vishnu Manchu, CEO, Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust. The CEO was delighted to announce that SVET had donated Rs. 1 Crore to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Ruia Hospital, Tirupati on the occasion of Chairman‟s birthday. He also thanked all the guests for gracing the occasion. Mr. Vishnu Manchu, CEO, SVET, presenting the Annual Report 2018-19 The Chief Guest, Ms. P.V. Sindhu, Indian Professional Badminton Player & Olympics Silver Medalist, Hyderabad expressed her happiness for being a part of the celebration. She appreciated all the facilities in SVEI especially library and research laboratories. She said to the students of Sree Vidyanikethan, the Chairman, Dr. M. Mohan Babu would be a great inspiration for their career. They could learn from him the most essential quality „Discipline‟. She further advised the students to work hard quoting „There is no substitute for hard work and is t he only key for success.‟ In turn the Chairman too wished Ms. Sindhu to raise the flag of our nation further and thanked her for accepting the invitation.

Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Institutions (SVEI) celebrated the Annual Day with fervor and

gaiety. The celebration began with the dance performance by the students invocating the Lord

Shiva followed by the annual report of SVEI by Mr. Vishnu Manchu, CEO, Sree Vidyanikethan

Educational Trust. The CEO was delighted to announce that SVET had donated Rs. 1 Crore to

Hyderabad expressed her happiness for being a part of the celebration. She appreciated all the

Viveswaraya, Dr. B.M. Hegde, etc in their respective fields. He motivated the students to emerge

like those great personalities and contribute to the nation which is a true return gift to the

honourable Chairman. He also suggested the students to take inspiration from the alumni Mr.

Yagna Sai, and Mr. Nagaram Amar.

Mr. Manchu Manoj, Movie artiste while addressing the audience thanked all the teaching fraternity

and staff of SVEI for making the celebration a grand success. As the state is gearing up for

elections, he emphasized the importance of casting vote and elicited that people should not sell their

votes. He also narrated a story about the attitude of children and it was all about how they perceive

things. He advised them not to blame anything or anyone in their life and instead always think

positive and choose the best path.

The Special Guest, Ms. Pinky Reddy, Industrialist & Social Activist, was surprised to see the top-

notch infrastructure and lush green environment on campus. She said that the chairman had not

just 3 children, but 11000 students of SVEI were also his children. She expressed that she was

honoured to be a part of the celebration and wished that institution would become like the Harvard

University. She also congratulated the CEO on his commitment and hard work.

As a part of the celebration, alumni of SVEI students were honoured. Mr. L. Yagna Sai, Innovator &

Entrepreneur, stated that he had a wonderful student life and had the best education in SVEI. He

said that the Chairman was a replica of discipline who took personal interest in visiting classes

during the course of his study. Speaking about his achievements, he proudly said that they launched

10 satellites among which one was from NASA in 2017 and another from ISRO.

He shared his memories that he had observed as a student that the Chairman invited guests from

various walks of life to inspire and motivate the students of SVEI. He also praised that the institution

had instilled in him a fighting spirit which helped him to overcome his struggles in his life journey.

He advised students to become creators of history and not just to be readers. Mr. Ali, movie artiste,

emphasized the importance of pen and said, “Pen is responsible for both good and bad deeds of

everyone”. He advised students to pave their own path for their successful career. He also advised

students to respect their parents who always crave for their better future.

The cultural events like Folk dance, Fusion dance, Traditional dance and skits enthralled the

audience. Artists of Vishnu Manchu Art Foundation from different walks of lives, Chief Guest,

Special Guests, and Guests of Honour were felicitated. Academic Achievers received Gold Medals

from the guests. The first Annual Report of Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Institutions‟ Research

Centers, 2018 was released by the Hon‟ble Chairman, Revered CEO & Dr. T. Lazar Mathew,

Research Advisor, SVET. Sri Manchu Narayanaswamy Naidu Best Teacher Award was bestowed on

Sri. Kambham Venkatesu and Dr. Shankara Bhaktula Satyam. The Best Research Paper Award was

given to Dr. J.S. Binoj, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, and

Dr. Dadamiah PMD Shaik, Assistant Professor (SL), Department of BS&H, SVEC.

and festive atmosphere to the celebration. All the dignitaries, Chief Guest and Guests of Honour

wished the Chairman on his birthday. The Celebration ended with National Anthem.
