Some market commentators are talking about a New World Order…Interest rates remain low, superannuation funds and international investors fuel demand for property, capital values for commercial property continue to rise and the rate of recovery in the sector has been almost unprecedented. Do these conditions herald a new era, or should we be asking, What is really different? Are there true changes afoot, or are we experiencing another, albeit slightly different cycle which will play out like the others? Have economic conditions structurally changed? Are property fundamentals significantly different to what we have experienced before? Where can fund managers and investors find value in this market? Does this represent a systemic shift for property investment, or are we seeing the signs of an investment bubble? The PFA Conference 2015 will examine these issues and more as we look to senior market commentators and property industry leaders to tell us whether the property paradigm has changed.
