Mensaje de Navidad 2020

¡No teman!, les traigo una buena noticia que les causará alegría.

¡Hoy, en la ciudad de David, nos ha nacido un Salvador, el Mesías, el Señor! Lucas 2,10-11 Queridos feligreses, Con estas palabras San Lucas nos comunica la mejor noticia del mundo: el nacimiento de Jesús, el Hijo de Dios. Y decimos que es la mejor noticia del mundo pues en los últimos meses hemos estado sometidos a escuchar noticias nada agradables. Por lo que el anuncio, una vez más, del nacimiento de Jesús, acontecimiento que si bien pasó hace más de 2000 años, viene a recordarnos que, en medio de todo lo que hemos experimentado en este año, el nacimiento de Jesús, sigue y es para nosotros, hoy y siempre, la mejor noticia jamás escuchada. Por lo que te lo comunicamos nuevamente: ¡Hoy, en la ciudad de David, nos ha nacido un Salvador, el Mesías, el Señor! Este tiempo de Navidad, bastante corto con apenas tres semanas, es un tiempo ideal para dar gracias en medio de todas las pruebas, y reconocer que en todas ellas, Dios sigue caminando con nosotros, amándonos y cuidándonos. Y no sólo es un tiempo para dar gracias. También es un tiempo para pensar en los demás, para poder descentrarnos de nuestras preocupaciones e intereses y colaborar con la oración, el esfuerzo, las finanzas, ayudando a aquellos, sabemos, están pasando momentos difíciles. Navidad es el tiempo para mostrar lo mejor de nosotros. Pues Jesús, el Niño que nace en Belén, nos muestra que lo mejor de nosotros siempre es posible pues para Papá Dios, ¡nada es imposible! Te invitamos a participar presencialmente a ser posible (también estaremos disponibles en nuestro canal de Youtube) en nuestras celebraciones de Navidad. Verifica los horarios de las eucaristías tanto del 24 y 25, así como del 26 y 27 de diciembre. Pues si bien el 25 celebramos litúrgicamente la Natividad de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo, el 26-27 celebraremos la Sagrada Familia. Christmas Message 2020

“Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy

that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Christ and Lord.”

Luke 2: 10-11 Dear Parishioners, Saint Luke communicates with these words the best news in the world: the birth of Jesus, the Son of God. We say that it is the best news in the world since in recent months we have been subjected to hearing unpleasant and really bad news. Then, the announcement, once again, of the birth of Jesus, an event that happened more than 2000 years ago, reminds us that, in the midst of everything we have experienced this year, the birth of Jesus, continues and it is for us, today and always, the best news ever heard. For this reason we communicate it to you again: “Today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Christ and Lord!” This Christmas season, quite short with just three weeks, is an ideal time to give thanks in the midst of all the struggles, and to recognize that in all of them, God continues to walk with us, loving us and caring for us. And it is not only a time to give thanks, it is also a time to think about others, to be able to de-center ourselves from our concerns and interests and collaborate with prayer, effort, finances and helping those we know are going through difficult times. Christmas is the time to show our best. Indeed, Jesus, the Child who is born in Bethlehem, shows us that the best of us is always possible because for God, our Father, nothing is impossible! We invite you to participate in person if possible (we will also stream Christmas Mass on our YouTube channel) in our Christmas celebrations. Check the times of the Eucharist both on 24th and 25th as well as on December 26th and 27th. As we celebrate liturgically the Nativity of Lord on the 25th, we will celebrate the Holy Family on the 26th-27th as well.
