The United Express flights will be operated by ExpressJet using 50-seat regional jet aircraft. Flight reservations are available immediately. “We are thrilled to add Chicago to our list of non-stop cities,” said James Meyer, director of the Centre County Airport Authority. “Chicago is ranked No. 3 among the top destination cities for passengers in this region, and it offer a convenient connecting city for westbound flights.” Beginning in January, there will be two scheduled departures daily from Chicago O’Hare and University Park Airport, with the times designed to allow for easy connections to the west coast and Far East. These flights will add to the robust schedule currently serving Centre County.
