The Department of Physics, at Universidad de los Andes (Uniandes), Bogotá, invites applicants for a postdoctoral position at the Condensed Matter Physics Group.

Uniandes is a private university which strives for excellence in both teaching and research, currently ranked in QS in the list of top ten Latin American universities. The physics department has active undergraduate, master and doctoral programs with excellent computing and lab facilities. A Ph.D. degree in Physics with experimental and/or theoretical experience on condensed matter physics, material science, statistical physics or related areas is required. Apart from their research activities, the applicants are expected to teach one course per semester in Introductory Physics.
