Kluesner-McCarthy

Joe and Janet Kluesner, of Bankston, are announc-ing the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Marie to Matt McCarthy, son of Ron and Judy McCarthy, of Ep-worth.

Vows will be exchanged on June 8 at 1:30 p.m. at St . Clement Church in Bankston.

Kristin is a graduate of Western Dubuque High School and University of Iowa with degrees in Physiology and Nuclear Medicine and is employed at IBI Scientific. Matt is a graduate of Western Dubuque High School and Coe College with a degree in Exercise Science and owns and operates McCarthy Roofing.

Egan-Willenborg

Julie Egan and Andy Wil-lenborg announce their en-gagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Gloriann Egan, of Dubuque, and the late Patrick Egan, and Carol Ann and Dennis Wil-lenborg, of New Vienna.

Julie is a graduate of The University of Dubuque and is a Third Grade Teacher at Sa-geville Elementary School, Dubuque.

Andy is a graduate of The University of Iowa and is a Cer-tified Public Accountant serving as Vice President for Fi-nance and Operations at Wartburg Theological Seminary,Dubuque, and is involved in family businesses of WillenborgAg Service and Willenborg Lawn Ornaments, New Vienna.

They will be married on June 15 at 1:30 p.m. at NativityChurch, Dubuque, with a reception to follow at Peosta Cen-tre, Peosta.

Smith-DeMoss

Kelsey Ann Smith and Bri-an Allen DeMoss, of Bondu-rant, are announcing their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Jean Smith, of Dundee; Robert and Tammy Smith, of Oelwein; Carolyn and Michael Mayer, of Osage; and L. David and Sandy De-Moss, of Manchester.

The wedding will take place on Sept. 7 at 2 p.m. at Im-maculate Conception Catholic Church, Masonville.

Kelsey received a Bachelor of Science degree in Jour-nalism and Mass Communication in 2010 from Iowa State University and is a 2006 graduate of Starmont High School. She is a director of Communication and Annual Fund, Wildwood Hills Ranch, an at-risk youth camp in St. Charles.

Brian received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Political Science from Loras College in 2008 and is a 2003 graduate of Maquoketa Valley High School. He is an Ac-counting Manager for the City of Marshalltown.

Kelsey is the granddaughter of Valene and LeRoy Schnie-ders, of Manchester, and the late Veronica O’Connell Smith and Diane and the late Richard Smith, of Lamont. Brian is the grandson of the late V. Faye Larson and Robert and La-Vonne Larson, of Manchester, and Viola and the late Ken-neth DeMoss, of Earlville.

John ‘Max’ and Carol Beitz

On Sunday evening, June 2, 1963, Carol Tetting and John “Max” Beitz were united in marriage at the United Methodist Church in Hopkinton.

They are the parents of Nancy (Brice) Lubben, of Delhi, and Dave (Kim) Be-itz, of Tiffin.

They have five grand-children: Taylor, Bailey and Mason Lubben and Ryan and Claire Beitz.

Bob Smith, of Bankston, and Joyce Kluesner, of Far-ley, were married on May 26, 1973, at St. Joseph Church, Farley.

They have three daugh-ters: Kristin (Mike) Hei-berger, of Epworth; Kelli (Jeff) Nelson, of Westfield, Ind.; and Rachel (Chad Gotto), of Bettendorf.

Trumm-Meyer

Samantha Trumm, of Ce-dar Falls, and Daniel Meyer, of Ames, announce their engagement and upcom-ing marriage. Parents of the couple are Larry and Cindy Trumm, of Farley, and Terry and Vicki Meyer, of Dyers-ville.

A 1:30 p.m. wedding cer-emony is planned for June 22 at St. Matthias Catholic Church, in Cascade. A reception will be held at the Cascade American Legion Hall.

Samantha graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in early childhood and elementary education. She will be teaching in Des Moines this fall.

Daniel graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science. He will be attending veterinarian school at ISU.

Jerome and Jean Rausch

J e r o m e a n d J e a n Rausch, of Cascade, will observe their 50th wed-ding anniversary on May 25. They were married by the Monsignor Mauer at St. Mary Catholic Church, in Cascade, on May 25, 1963.

Their chi ldren and grandchildren are: Terry (Cookie) and Kris Rausch, Riley, Reis and Reid, of Cascade; Jill Marie, deceased; Brian Rausch, Reagan, Alexis, Cooper and Margo, of Cas-cade; Tammy and Tom Connolly, Jenna, Jacob and Jarett, of Worthington; Jason Rausch and Nate Furler, of Deco-rah; Marty and Angie Rausch, Cade, Cason and Kira, of Cascade; Brad and Mary Rausch, Brad, Jr., Jordan, Tyler, Triston and Avery Rausch; and Jaden and Keaton Kelle-her, of Epworth.

They celebrated on May 10 with a limo ride to the Moracco Supper Club with their children.

Kroeger new postmaster of Farley

working for the United States Postal Service.

She started in 1988 as a clerk at the Dubuque Post Office and on 07-07-07(her lucky day) she became postmaster of Luxemburg. Effective May 4, she is the Farley postmaster.

Dawn and her husband, Rick, reside in Dyersville. They are the parents of three children, Rachel, Sar-ah and Jason.

Kroeger said, “I look for-ward to working in Farley and helping my custom-ers with all their mailing needs.”

The new Farley Post Of-fice hours are: 7:15-10:15 a.m. and 12:15-3:15 p.m., Monday through Friday and 8:45-10 a.m. on Saturdays.
