1.0 Introduction

The cables and OFC splicing enclosure shall be supplied as per the specifications mentioned in the annexure and conditions indicated herein.

2.0 Scope of Supply The scope of Supply includes handling, transportation, inspection and testing including packing and safe delivery of cables and OFC splicing enclosure at Kalpakkam as per technical specification specified in Annexure - I of this tender document.

4.0 Qualification criteria for bidders: Technical Requirements:

a. The offer from manufacturer or authorized distributor or authorize d representative only will be accepted. A document in this regard shall be submitted with bid.

b. The Supplier shall have experience in supply of items, to government organizations/PSUs/ reputed industries in the last five years, for which bid is submitted. The bidder shall submit documentary proof for the above.

c. Bids with the following conditions will not be considered for technical qualification: 1. The suppliers who are currently debarred/blacklisted from participating in the tender either in

the government departments or in the public sector undertakings. 2. Suppliers who have not furnished the required information in spite of giving the opportunity. 3. Suppliers who have furnished incorrect or misleading information.

5.0 Documents to be submitted along with Bid

The following documents shall be submitted along with the bid : a. Check list for Bidders for Submission of Technical Bid (Annexure-V) duly filled and signed

by the bidder.

Offer not accompanied with any of the above documents mentioned in Section 5.0 and Section 6.0 will be treated as incomplete and liable for rejection without any correspondence. Proof of all the above shall be submitted along with Bid.

6.0 General notes to the Supplier: a. Bidder shall obtain clarifications in writing from the Purchaser on the technical and

commercial doubts pertaining to this tender before submitting their offer. b. The bids shall be evaluated on Item basis and not on whole tender. Thus P.O. may be

placed item-wise for this tender, if necessary.

7.0 Packing and transportation The supplier shall ensure supply of the items to IGCAR stores at his own cost including for

any damage/loss during transhipment. 8.0 Shipment:

The supplier shall be fully responsible for protective measures to ensure safe delivery of the items.

9.0 Delivery Schedule: All the items shall be delivered within 6 months after placing the P.O.

7. Inspection, testing and acceptance: Prior to acceptance, the cables received shall be inspected and tested for their conformance to labeling, marking, construction and electrical parameters like DC resistance and insulation resistance as mentioned in the specification.

8. The bidder shall be a original manufacturer/ authorized distributor/ authorized seller and a document in this regard shall be provided along with the bid.

9. The bidder shall provide the Manufacturer’s Certificate of compliance to the applicable standard for the offered product.
