Ann Shrager NEACTaking a spare approach to figurative painting, Ann Shrager creates a sense of light-hearted whimsy in her work. She enlivens the eye by localizing splashes of colour against simple and often exotic outdoor settings. Her style entails an element of mystery that intrigues the viewer to further investigate her paintings. Educated at both the Byam Shaw School and Royal Academy, it is no surprise Shrager has been the recipient of multiple awards, such as the NEAC award. This recognition has made her popular addition amongst some prominent collections, as well as being made a Governer of the Mall Galleries. Shrager’s work has been widely exhibited at several galleries throughout the UK and she is now developing a reputation as a leading contemporary artist.
