BOOK OF INSPIRATION

I, Anita Sondore, paint time, people, events, faces and hearts of emotion.My painting tools are unusual – I am the granddaughter of a blacksmith and I carve, fire, and turn

my pictures in metal, silver, gold, amber and emeralds.

I am a jeweller, a woman, and this a time when magical things happen all around us, when it’s possible for me to be a master jeweller, and to work with diamonds.

My mission is to observe the world around us and see sources of inspiration to develop or build on, in everything.

This is what I am doing in this collection called The Sounds of Silence in honour of the greatNorthern European city Riga.

Look and listen deep into the heart of Riga, its people. Look into her eyes and pass your gaze over her veins, her breath, her cheekbones and the curves of her body.

Your will be surprised at how rich and beautiful her thousand year melody is.

My jewellery tells my own story – it’s a mirror of its time.There are personalities, individuals, living,

breathing, ringing with a deep thoughtand a message in their hearts.

SOUL RING

A free and beautiful soul. That’s you. Creative, giving, glowing, a little mad. Wild in your deepest depths. Ethereal, one that you love desperately but are also a little afraid of. The earth itself in all its creativity, with all its tempests and storms, and sun filled valleys. How can you be known, how can your spirit be seen? Look at your fingers, your gentle hands. There the Soul Ring sparkles,

the symbol of your deepest femininity.

Can you hear this ring whisper its stories?

This ring has such a lot to say, to whisper ancient tales, dreams and stories. About a free spirit, about authenticity, naturalness. This time the story is being told through Latvian symbols and feelings. Here the signs of Jumis, the three stars, Laima’s broom and Mara’s zig zag have been encoded. Altogether it pulsates like the tartan of a folk costume shawl, the lively green fotrests of the Northern lands smell of soil, stones, leaves and roots. Here walks a wild

undiluted soul – perhaps in a she-wolf’s hide. . . . .

The Soul Ring is minted from yellow gold, under a film of brown rhodium, lightly matte, enriched with two-toned enamel. In the middle of this spectacle,

sparkle brown diamonds and tourmaline.

NIGHT FIRE RING

diamond wrapped in a veil of night.

Even if the eye cannot see, and a veiled moon and a starry blanket are ahead, your intuition, your heart and mind know – the sun is nearby, just beyond the delusion. Fiery, glowing. Everything has its other side – laughter follows tears, black by white, so it has been time after time. The night sun is a symbol for unlimited possibilities, a thou-sand realities, and for the true art of fulfilling dreams. And peace and quiet, for art to find the right, the perfect time.

The Night Fire Ring is made of white gold, covered with a grey veil of rhodium, rolled in a matt finish and sprinkled with diamonds. At its very centre, she holds a power-full

moonstone.

DAY AND NIGHT RING

Two sides, two sides.Day against night, peace against unrest, moon against sun. Fizzing and colliding until a unity is created. Until eternity is born. The symbol of your inner power and harmony –

on your finger is the Day and Night Ring.

In the dreamings of many peoples, the snake is a symbol of fertility and rebirth. For Latvians, for me, Anita Sondore, this snake has a name – zalktis. The force of life, intuition and a woman’s deepest essence which blooms and

intertwines with the male, the opposite.

The Day and Night Ring conjured from white gold, is covered in a veil of white rhodium. Black diamonds

embrace the mother of pearl inlay.

This is a story about the unity of the world, people, events. It’s about how we are the flowers, buds, leaves, branches and roots of one tree. You may call it a god sign, but one traced in diamonds. We can hear the power, background, tradition, unity that this ring whispers. We are all one, all of us are one.

The Diamond Moonlight Ring is formed from white gold with rhodium plating. A satin finish, white enamel, diamonds and

power-full moonstone.

My mission as a woman is to generate more beauty in the world and nature has given us the inner strength to do that – deep knowledge of healing, mystic and magic powers.

I hope that these pieces of jewellery will help to feel, carry and disseminate this power. I have created jewellery with

a message that is clearly striking and full of energy.

Although quiet and delicately beautiful, they resonance, zummmz, with a very powerful energetic frequency.
