MDF – Main Distribution Frame (terminating access lines and enabling cross connection to service specific line card)

HDF – Handover Distribution Frame (the demarcation point between Openreach and CPs within the Comingling area)

Test DN – Test Directory Number (used for connecting to the Openreach line test systems for fault diagnosis)
