RABBITS
QUOTA: 2 rabbits per lot per breed. Limited to 20 rabbits total.
Requirements:
All breeds recognized by the American Rabbit Breeders Association are eligible. Rabbits will be judged according to ARBA standards. For this division, purebred will be defined to mean showing typical characteristics of a breed recognized.
Each rabbit must be permanently tattooed in the left ear for identification purposes. ID Worksheets are required.
Purebred rabbits are those which have a three-generation pedigree showing the ancestral background being of all the same breed, making it eligible for registration.
Judging will be based on health and vigor, uniformity of development, coat, condition and degree of fleshing. Standard recognized breed characteristics will be considered in judging breeding classes.
Rabbit exhibitors are responsible for bringing their own water dishes, feeder, and feed to the fair. A water dish that can be tied to the cage with string or wire works the best.
No locks allowed unless prior approval by committee on a case by case basis by attending a Rabbit Committee Meeting and following their guidance.

SWINE
QUOTA: 6 hogs total: up to 5 hogs may be any combination of breeding and/or market, with a maximum of 4 barrows; if you choose to bring a sixth hog, the sixth must be a breeding gilt. Market gilts will be shown at the State Fair 21 Day Rule Information: The "21-day rule" is in effect for any 4-H county whose swine show is 21 or more days from the date of the state fair 4-H swine show. All counties who fall into this "rule” - their families are allowed to take the pig they won the trip with, or take another pig off of their 4-H online ID. So, the trip is awarded to the 4-H member. If they take another pig from their online ID, it must be the same "type". So, if they win a trip with a market barrow - they take a market barrow. If they win a trip with a market gilt - they take a market gilt. If they win a trip with a breeding gilt - they take a breeding gilt. We don't care if it is a registered gilt they win with and they take a commercial breeding gilt, or another registered type of breeding gilt....it just must be a breeding gilt. AND ---- no one else from their family has showed the pig they are bringing forward at their county fair show.
Requirements:
Recommended minimum weight for State Fair is 220 pounds; maximum State Fair weight is 300. A gilt may be entered as breeding or market, but not both.

Started in 2008 a 50% minimum of all projects must remain at the county fair. If you bring, 3, 2 must remain. If you bring 4, 2 may leave. Hogs may be taken home immediately following the show on Friday to be shown at other state or regional shows.
