Essential Question
How do animals use their body parts to help them survive?
Fish
Fishes uses slime on its scales to glide through the water.
Birds
Seed-eating birds have cone-shaped beaks to crush and grind seeds.
Crocodiles
The eyes and nostrils of a crocodile stick up above its head, so it can hide under the water and still keep a lookout for prey.
Goat
Goats have hoofed feet, so they can climb rocks.
Gorillas
They use their feet to climb trees and to pick up food.
