Section II: Technical Notes

STP shall be compact package type, smell free and shall consume less power.

Bar Screen:The Bar Screen of MSEP material is considered in the scope for better life.The screen of 16 mm spacing is considered with required accessories for lifting &

cleaning. The screens can be easily removed & cleaned as required.

Equalization Tank: We have proposed collection cum equalization tank in MSEP

below/above the ground level & it depends on the invert level of sewage wastewater. All

other tanks of STP in MS can be built fully above the ground as required. The tanks can

be covered from the top, if required and access manholes can be provided. The tank is

provided with air distribution piping with adequate number of air grids.

GREWA - B (MBBR):The reactor tank is provided with Media of PP material. The media

is in moving condition. The Sewage Water flows down keeping in contact with media.The air in form of bubbles coming from the bottom of tank comes in contact with Water &

MBBR media. The tank is provided with air grid distribution piping for the biological

oxidation of sewage.

Air Blowers: Air shall be used in MBBR tank and will also be used in collection cum

equalization tank to avoid the anaerobic conditions, smell problem and sedimentation of

solids in to the tank.

Tube Deck Media Clarifier: The overflow of MBBR tank is taken in to the Tube Deck

Media Clarifier. Here Tube Deck media in PVC is arranged to facilitate solid liquid

separation.

Clarified/Clear Water Tank: The clear water from Tube Deck Media Clarifier flows in to

this tank. A Sodium Hypochlorite solution is dosed in this tank using a metering pump.

Media Filtration System: The clarified & chlorinated water is pumped to Dual Media

followed by Activated Carbon Filtration System to further polish the treated water.

Ultra Filtration System (Optional): Filtered water is passed through the Ultrafiltration

plant to further reduce suspended solids.

Sludge removal from Tube settler by gravity & disposed by client.

Our offer is exclusive of civil work, which includes tanks construction, foundation of

equipment, drains & trenches, shedding/plant room for the equipment and related MS

work

Section III: Scope of work & supply

Scope of Work:

Design, Engineering, preparation & submission of drawings, supply, installation, testingand commissioning of STP including mechanical & electrical work as per the detailsgiven in the scope of supply.

No Civil work with related MS work is considered in our scope. We shall providedimensional GA & section/elevation drawing for civil work based on your site conditions& available space after release of purchase order.

We shall provide operation training of system for 2 to 3 days to your operational team.

DELIVERY : 12-16weeks from date of receipt of PO and Advance, whichever

is later.

VALIDITY : 30 days from the date of offer.

WAREHOUSING:In case of delay in receipt of balance payment within 10 days from date of our intimation of

readiness of plant, a charge for warehousing @ 1% of PO value per week, subject to a

maximum of 5% of PO value shall be levied. Thereafter, warehousing charges shall be

adjusted against the advance received and plant would be diverted to other customers.

WARRANTY FOR EQUIPMENT:Liability with respect to any defect in failure of equipment supplied by us or any loss, injury or

damage attributable thereto, is limited to making good by replacement or repairs; defects

which under proper use appear therein, provided the equipment is operated and maintained

in accordance with our instructions and arise totally from proved faulty design, material or

workmanship, within a period of 12 months from the date of commissioning of equipment or

18 months from the date of supply, whichever is earlier, at the termination of which period,

all liability on our part shall cease.

This warranty is applicable under the following conditions:

a. Any replacement / repairs required to be made under the provisions of the abovewarranty will be carried out at our option, either at site or at our works. In the latter

case, you shall arrange to promptly return the defective parts to us, at your cost.

b. After repairs/replacement, the period of warranty for the entire equipment including

replaced/repaired parts shall limit itself to the unexpired portion of the total warranty

period.

c. Bought out components are warranted only to the extent of warrantees extended to

us by our suppliers. Electrical components such as heaters, motors, contactors etc.,

rubber components and instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, etc.

are however, not covered under this warranty.

d. In respect of the equipment where despatch after readiness is delayed due to

specific instructions or lack of instructions from you, the warranty shall be limited to18 months from the date of readiness for despatch of equipment, as notified by us.

e. No repairs or replacements, unless authorised by us in writing, shall be carried out by

any other party on our equipment during the warranty period or otherwise.

The warranty period shall not cover the following:

i. Normal wear and tear.

ii. Damages/defects arising out of mal-operation of the plant by the purchaser

and accidents.

FORCE MAJEURE:In all cases where a time schedule for dispatch, delivery erection or completion has been

specified, the time for all these shall be extended by a reasonable period if the delay iscaused by lack of instruction from the Purchaser or any industrial disputes, war, strikes,

lockout, fire, accident, defective materials, approval of drawings, statutory restriction or any

causes whatsoever beyond our and our Suppliers/subcontractors reasonable control. No

liability shall be acceptable due to above reasons.

LIABILITYIn no case shall we be liable for any loss of anticipated profits as well as consequentialdamages, loss by reason of plant shutdown, non-operation, or increased cost of operation,

or another consequential loss or damage of any nature. In other words, our liability under thecontract shall be solely restricted to the framework of our performance guarantee subject toall conditions stipulated therein.

DRAWINGS, DESIGNS AND PATTERNS

All specifications, drawings, designs, data information, ideas methods conceived, developed

or acquired, incidental or produced and /or carried out, shall be the sole property of

Jaldhara Technologies Pvt Ltd.and shall not be used by the Purchaser or any other Party

associated with the Purchaser for any other project. Unless otherwise agreed drawings are

not subject to Purchasers approval. All Specifications are subject to changes during detail

Engineering.

DOCUMENTATION

Unless otherwise mutually agreed, in writing, only two copies of foundation/Layout/general

arrangement drawings, P& I diagrams, operation and maintenance manuals shall be

provided free of cost.

INSPECTION

If desired, necessary visual inspection may be carried out by the Purchaser or his authorized

representative at Purchasers cost at our works/ go-down/ subcontractors works before

despatch. Intention of the Purchaser to inspect any equipment / systems must be specified

by the Purchaser so as to be properly taken care of in the Purchase Order clause. Wet or

dry tests shall be charged for as an extra item.

CONSENTS FROM STATE POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD OR ENVIRONMENT DEPT

Approvals or consents from the Central / State Pollution Control Board or Department of

Environment, Municipal Authorities, Industrial development Corporations or Safety

Inspectorate shall not be in our scope unless specified elsewhere in our quotation or formallyagreed to by us. There shall be a separate, mutually agreed fee for this service, which shall

be paid to us along with a Work Order.

ALTERATIONS TO EQUIPMENT SUPPLIED

Purchaser shall not make any repairs, alterations or replacement in regard to the equipment

supplied without written authorization from Jaldhara Technologies Pvt Ltd.

HANDING OVER

Unless otherwise specified in the order and accepted, handing over of the equipment and /

or installation would be considered as completed and a formal completion certificate shall be

issued by the purchaser/ user if :

The material has been supplied as per the terms of scope of supply or with agreed

deviations, if any. Erection if involved has been completed generally as per the terms of

order or with unavoidable deviations. The equipment and /or installation have been put to

commercial use either with or without the help of our engineer.

The Purchaser / user shall put the equipment to commercial use only after issuing a formal

completion certificate. Our responsibility in term of warranty shall cease straightaway if the

equipment is put into operation without formal taking over. Installation of equipment shall be

started only after all payments / dues against supply have been cleared by the Purchaser.

NON-PAYMENT

In case any payment remains outstanding for more than 60 days from date of supply or 30days from date of commissioning whichever is earlier, Jaldhara Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

reserves the right to opt for legal recourse for recovery of dues or / and take back your asset

(plant).

STORAGE

The Purchaser shall be responsible to protect the equipment against damage from weather

or other causes and for any costs in connection with storage and reconditioning of the plant

once supplied.

DEFAULT, INSOLVENCY OR BANKRUPTCY

If the buyer refuses to lift the material when ready or accept the material after it has beendispatched, we reserve the right to retain all advances received as compensation for costs

incurred by us and to resell the material for and on behalf of the buyers and to reserve from

the buyers the deficiency between the price of such a safe (less all necessary costs thereof)

and costs incurred in manufacturing the said equipment.

In case of an order where the buyer has stipulated pre-delivery inspection as a condition in

case buyer fails to carry out inspection within 15 (fifteen) days of our giving notice of

readiness of material in a storage / warehousing charge of 1% of the value of material per

month. If the inspection is not carried out within 3 (three) months of our notice in writing, the

course of action as given the above paragraph will be followed by us.

In the event the buyer become insolvent commits an act of bankruptcy or default in the

performance of his proposal, the entire unpaid amount / portion of the order value shall

without motive or demand immediately become due and payable. In such an event, we at

out option shall without notice or demand be entitled to sue for the said balance amount and

for a reasonable attorneys fees out of pocket expenses plus interest and / or take immediate

possession of the said equipment or any portion thereof and enter any place and remove the

same without legal process, all trespass and damage resulting therefore being waived by the

buyer.

We shall have the right to retain all payments made therefore as compensation for the use of

the said equipment and or resell the said equipment at private or public sale without notice

of demand for and on behalf of buyer and to receive from the buyer deficiency between the

price of such resale (less all necessary costs and expenses thereof) and the balance then

due to us for the said equipment.
