Hi. Im Andy Glynn, a young graphic designer from the UK. Im moving to Vancouver in September 2013 and Ill be looking for design work in the city.

During my career Ive had a chance to work in a variety of different environments (studio, in-house, print shop) on artwork for a string of great companies including household names in the UK such as B&Q, the Hard Rock Cafe, Nickelodeon, Danelectro, Garfunkels & Homebase. Over the years Ive had my work cast in lead, printed on guitars and plastered over the back of a Spanish bus. I specialize in layout and print but Im always looking for the opportunity to expand my repertoire and try something new.

InterestsMusic has always been a real passion of mine. I enjoy writing and recording songs and Ive played in various bands over the years. Ive also done a bit of music writing and DJing in the past. Im a keen fan of soccer, rugby league and roller derby. I try to get out and about in nature as much as possible and living in Vancouvers going to be a great opportunity to get out and do some exploring with a camera. I also enjoy film, reading, cooking, and visiting museums and galleries.

Wont it be difficult hiring some British guy? Im over in Canada on a working visa with the intention of working towards permanent residency and eventually full citizenship.

For the duration of my visa, there shouldnt be any more paperwork or restrictions involved in hiring me than there would be with a Canadian citizen.
