Gallieo Galliel first found Saturn with a telescope in 1610.In 1655 Christiaah Huygens could see Saturn better and make out the rings. Saturn’s Gases •Saturn’s gases are helium and hydrogen. Saturn’s Names and Moons •The planet Saturn is named after a Roman god. Many of Saturn’s moons are named after titans. Saturn has about 56 moons.

• Saturn always has a storm. During the storm helium rain falls and strong winds blow.

• It takes 3 years and 2 months to travel to Saturn with a space shuttle. It depends on where Saturn is on it ‘s orbit and how fast the space shuttle goes.
