Vicky McEvoy is an experienced Therapist, Supervisor and Trainer and was the founder and manger of Oasis counselling service for 20 years.Vicky has a Masters in Supervision, a BTh, H. Dip in Adult Education, and Diplomas in both Counselling and in CBT.

A n d re a W i g g l e s w o r t h i s a n experienced Trainer, Therapist and Supervisor and has many years of experience planting Counselling Centres around Scotland. She has an MSc in Counselling Advanced Practice, and an M.Sc in Heath Promotion. With Post Grad Diploma in Teaching and in Supervision she is a certified Life Plan Coach and an Imago Therapist.

Vivienne Morrow Murtagh is a Counsellor and Supervisor with the IACP and has worked with ACET, counsel l ing and facilitating groups for 25 years. She is also trained in Human Resource Management.

Vital Connexions

This course is for experienced Counsellors who wish to train as Supervisors.

It is integrative, based primarily of the Cyclical Model of Supervision by Page and Woskett and provides a clear and comprehensive structure for working with Counsellors on their Client work. It also provides a way of working with Cross Professional Supervision.

The course also looks at the Process Model, Group Supervision, Ethical Dilemmas, Practical Issues, Legal Issues, and also has lots of creative methods that inject energy into the work and unblock “stuckness”.

The course is fully accredited by the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Your Philosophy of Supervision Essay Reflective Learning Journal

50 hours of supervision work (25 during class time and 25 external with supervision 1:5 )

2 days - The Process and Developmental Models - Fri 25th and Sat 26th Sept ‘20

2 days - Group Supervision November - Fri 20th and Sat 21st Nov ‘20

1 day - DVD recording to be arranged by group consensus

Please send €50 processing fee with short summary of yourqualifications and work as a counsellor and your reasons for wanting to do this course. You will then be called for an interview. On offer of a place you will pay €350 non refundable deposit followed by payment of €1500 in August or payment each module. (€500 in August, €250 inSeptember, €250 in November, €250 January and €250 in May. All assignments to be completed by August 2021. Graduation August 2021. Total €1,850 (plus processing fee).
