Under 18 - Did you ever consider becoming a tutor?

Classroom Assistants Wanted

Do you know that we have a ClassroomAssistant Programme where pupils, under the age of 18 andof the right standard, can gain skills and valuable experience as ‘Classroom Assistants’ in theirinstrument under the supervision of their class teacher.

This is a volunteering opportunity that will prepare young pupils in advance of reaching the age of18, to become tutors themselves and benefit from being able to add this experience and new skillsdevelopment to their CV.

We are targeting pupils aged 16+ with and playing ability of Grade 6 or 8standard. (pupils above the age of 18 can also be considered if they wish to avail of this experience.)If you think you match this criteria and would be interested in becoming a assistant please contactus at 90 434 894.

MUSIC SCHOOL SUPPORT GROUP

Earlier in the year, the Board sought interest from those of you who would beinterested in developing a Music School Support Group. This was achieved inOctober, and a group of 5 individuals came together with a number ofproposals that would improve the school's profile and offer fundraisingopportunities.

Feelings were strong that it was important to re-establish regular performanceand group playing opportunities, which would raise the profile, such as aGrúpa Ceoil (Music Session Group), Ceol-a-Thon and an Annual ShowcasePerformance. We are planning to address these ideas early in the New Yearand hold bi-weekly sessions in the DuncairnArts Centre.

Watch our Website, Facebook and E-mails for event details.
