Road Trip!Life is a highway and all roads lead to Anderson County. We’re located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in a region of South Carolina known as The Upstate. Just two hours from Atlanta and Charlotte on Interstate 85, Anderson is a convenient stop along any east coast route. Let your customers unwind in our beautiful mountain lake settings where history and art come alive through our nationally recognized community festivals. Or, learn to make your own corn meal in a working grist mill from 1845. Whether its outdoor adventure, art or history, Anderson is where the rubber meets the road.

We know planning a group tour is a big job. That’s why our knowledgeable staff is on hand to do everything possible to make your trip a success. Whatever the size of your group, you’ll be touring a destination that truly appreciates and values your business. We want to make your group’s visit to our area as easy to plan as possible.

We’re pleased to offer the following complimentary services for motorcoach groups staying overnight in our destination: • Soliciting proposals for hotel/motel accommodations on your behalf. • Hosting a welcome reception with punch and cookies at your hotel/motel upon arrival. • Assistance in setting up your meals in area restaurants. • Developing a customized itinerary to meet the interests of your group. • Arranging step-on guides. • Editorial copy and photos to help you promote the tour to your clients. • Referrals to companies in our area providing whatever service you need.

Since no brochure can fully answer every question, we invite you to stop by our Visitor Center in the newly renovated Arts Center Warehouse in downtown Anderson at 110 Federal Street, Suite 8, Anderson, SC 29625. Call us toll free at 877-282-4650 or e-mail [email protected]. Sample itineraries and additional group tour information can be found on our web site at www.visitanderson.com.
