DWS WORKSTATIONS have been specially designed to provide a small benchmounted unit with unrestricted access for those operations that are difficult to perform in a conventional fume hoodor down flow bench. To provide protection the down flow action takes the contaminated air away from the operator.An alarm will sound if the airflow falls to an unsafe level.The stainless steel work tray is removable for easy cleaning and also provides easy access to the pre-filter. A spillagetray is located below the work surface. Integral lighting gives good illumination of the desired area. Several DWS unitscan be sited side by side to make long unit.

All mechanisms in the head section are on the clean side of the filter, with the switches and electricalcomponents being isolated from any contamination.

Downflow Work StationsThe DWS range gives the operator safety protection where routine work isbeing carried out. The units are very quiet as they re-circulate air and do notexhaust expensive conditioned and/or heated air into the atmosphere.

Formalin Dispensing Workstation FDS-P5-24

The FDS-P5-24 Formalin Dispensing Work Station hasbeen specifically designed to protect the operator fromhazardous formaldehyde fumes when formalin is beingdispensed in the laboratory or theatre.

The cabinets are free-standing and need only an electricalsocket. Containment and operator protection is by way ofa fully COSHH compliant fume cupboard that is providedwith a large capacity carbon filter to remove all theformaldehyde fumes.

The FDS-P5-24 is a new addition to the range offeringa really small footprint, only 610mm wide and 676mmdeep meaning it will fit in almost anywhere.

Formalin is stored in its original 5 or 10 litre containerand when required it is pumped to the outlet in theworking area via the foot switch control.

Operator protection is provided by our popularfiltration fume cabinet which offers containment toCOSHH and BS7980:2001 standards. It is fitted with alarge capacity carbon filter. Dispensing takes place onlywhen the switch is depressed. This means that theoperator can use both hands to safely hold the container
