If you stay longer than 7 consecutive days, you will be liable to receive an infringement notice and/or you may be issued with a notice to remove your vessel. If issued a removal notice you must not return to those waters for 60 days. The vessel must then move at least one nautical mile from its original position or leave the area for 24 hours. The 7 consecutive day cycle then restarts. Anchoring, mooring and grounding restrictions

7 day anchoring waters

Refer to Marine Parks legislation

7 day anchoring waters 24 hr anchoring waters

Anchoring and mooring in this area is restricted to a maximum of 7 consecutive days in any 60 day period at one or more locations within these (blue striped) waters.

If you stay up to 7 days and move into another area for a minimum of 24 hours and then return, the 7 consecutive day cycle restarts.

If you stay longer than 7 consecutive days, you will be liable to receive an infringement notice and/or you may be issued with a notice to remove your vessel. If issued a removal notice you must not return to those waters for 60 days.
