Acarya Citkrsnandaji’s of Manila Sector visit to Anandanagar
On 3rd May 2016 Ac Citkrsnananda Avt visited Ananda Nagar after a long time. He visited Dimdiha where MG Quarter was demolished by Communist Goons in the year 1990 after murdering Acarya Asimanandaji. He also visited dead volcano, Nava Cakra cave, Central point of Rarh and Tantra Piithas.

House opening Ceremony
On 8th May 2016 House Opening Ceremony was done as per Ananda Marga Caryacarya at
the village Bamnia. The house owner is Shrii Buddhdev Mahato, a High school teacher.
Three hour Akhanda Kiirtan followed by Narayana Seva was done.
Child’s naming ceremony
On 14th May 2016, a Naming Ceremony was done as per our Ananda Marga Caryacarya at the village Rajuadih. On this occasion three hour Akhanda Kiirtan was held.
On this day three hour Akhanda Kiirtan accompanied with Narayana Seva was also done by students at Chitmu.

On 14th May three hours akhanda Kiirtana was held by students at Chitmu village Narayan
seva was also done.

Ananda Purnima the birthday of Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji Celebrated
On 21st May 2016 Ananda Purnima i.e., birthday of Gurudeva Shrii Shrii Ananda Murtiji was observed at Ananda Marga High School with the highest spiritual vibration. There was 12 hour Akhanda Kiirtan started from 20th May at 5 pm and ended 5 am on 21st May. A colourful procession of 700 Margiis from High School to Pundag and back to High School. There was Ananda Vanii reading, its explanation, collective breakfast and launch. Video show etc. were done.

Ananda Purnima Dharma Maha Sammelan (DMS) held
On 26th May 2016 Marga Guru Representative (MGR) Acarya Sarveshvarananda Avt arrived
Ananda Nagar. A welcome reception was given to MGR at Muri Railway Station in the
morning by hundreds of Margiis. On the way to Ananda Nagar, Margiis garlanded MGR at
5 places. At Jhalda the new gate of Ananda Marga School was inaugurated by MGR.
On and from 27th May 2016 to 29th May 2016 on the occasion of the Ananda Purnima
Dharma Maha Sammelan was held at Ananda Nagar.
The MGR gave very nice spiritual discourses on different subjects. There was 72 hour
Akhanda Kiirtan started from 3 pm of 26th May. There was beautiful cultural function on
all the days of DMS
There was a cheap canteen for general Margiis. This canteen was very popular to the
margiis because of its quality of food as well as its cheap price. This canteen was organized
by the Rector Master of Ananda Nagar.

Installation of Telecommunication Tower
A telecommunication tower has been installed at the Central Anandanaar near DMS
Pandal by Aiertel Company. With this installation a long outstanding problem of very poor
communication at Anandanagar will be solved

Ánandanagar is also unique in its physical traits. It is situated in the Damodar valley. Though
Damodar is far from here, surface rain water from here is discharged into rivers that are tributaries
to the Damodar and thus ultimately flow into the Damodar. The source of the Kansabati, a river of
Ráóh, is quite near Ánandanagar. But Ánandanagar is not in Kansabati basin. This geographical
fact is very important. The Subarnarekha is not also very far from Ánandanagar. Muri Railway
junction is 39 kilometres from Ánandanagar and the Subarnarekha flies by Muri. So the
Subarnarekha is also 39 kilometres from Ánandanagar. So we find that watershed of the
Subarnarekha, the Kansabati, and Damodar are quite near. This area richest in fossils.So Baba has
called it ‘the nursery of civilization’.
Two rivers, the Uttará and the Dakśińá flow in Central Ánandanagar. Ánandanagar in the
centre of Ráóh. The point where the Kunti unites with the Dakśińá is called Madhya- Rárh or the
Centre-of- Rárh For a circle can be drawn with this point as centre to include the whole of Rárh.
Thus Ánandanagar is the centre of Rárh
