CONTRARY TO CONVENTION, ED SHEERAN’S DIGIPAKS DON’T CONSIST OF 4 OR 6 PANELS. THEY CONTAIN A SLEEVE WHICH THE CD CASE FITS IN, A 4 FOLD DIGIPAK AND A BOOKLET WHICH FITS INSIDE IT.

FRONT COVER

Fitting with convention, the

front has a large eye-

catching picture of the artist himself,

with his name at the top and the album name in the corner and a sticker advertising it is the deluxe edition.

BACK COVERThe back cover on the sleeve is identical to the back of the CDcase. It contains track listing, a barcode, the record label and the artists website. This is something we could include on the back cover of our digipak.

THE INSIDE

Unlike convention, there is no extra information behind the CD, there is just a plain orange background.

Inside the booklet, there are lyrics and extra information about each song, accompanied by illustrations of people working on the album.

Also in the booklet is a page of messages of thanks from the artist, with another illustration, keeping

with the theme.

booklet, there is a dedication of

the record, with a message from the artist. A paw print is included

as on the front cover, which is a

symbol of the artist.

THE MULTIPLY ALBUM

ED SHEERAN’S NEXT ALBUM, MULTIPLY, HAS A VERY SIMILAR DIGIPAK, EXCEPT THE COLOURS CHANGED FROM ORANGE AND BLACK TO GREEN AND BLACK. ANOTHER DIFFERENCE IS THE BACK OF THE SLEEVE DOESN’T CONTAIN A TRACK LIST, IT IS JUST THE FRONT COVER WITH THE COLOURS REVERSED. THE TRACK LIST AND AN ILLUSTRATION ARE ON THE BACK OF THE CD CASE INSTEAD. THE ALBUM AFTER THIS, DIVIDE ALSO HAS SIMILAR BRANDING BUT WITH BLUE AND BLACK COLOURS.
