Wretch 32 uses bright colours in this advert to show how his life is currently, however, the black graphics on his hands and neck contradict this idea.

From wretch 32’s music advert, we can see that they have denoted the star as a type of hood, urban person which could possibly connote to someone that the genre of the type of music the music advert is advertising is urban, which comes under another genre which hasn't fully developed in the music industry which is 'Grime.' From the font we can see it is some sort of basic text and the rest are the font of 'Times New Roman.' The font of it isn't really creative but the graphics to the music advert will attract people to want to buy the album. When we look at the music advert we can see how it represents the urban scene with the block of flats representing what the star mainly talks about in his songs.

His face is not facing the camera but is rather facing to the side, I think this could possibly mean he is denoting to everyone that he just doesn't care who is possibly looking at him , he doesn't have to look at them. Also, We can see from the star motifs costume that he is mainly representing how the youths of today are represented, this follows on to be a fashion trend for the youths of today as this is how they dress, with the plain top and the baggy jeans. furthermore, we can see a chain with a cross on it hanging out of his pocket, this could either be a religious view or another fashion statement as cross chains are worn around the neck and are not hanged from pockets.

The reason why I decided to analyse this picture is because I have decided for my Magazine advert to have a spit screen picture, which will show one side where the Main character is wearing a shirt and looks smart emphasising the fact that he has made it. whereas the other one will have either a football kit or a jeans and a a t-shirt. I will keep it the same for my digipak as well because I want every thing to been linked and to not Change my characters image.
