Sri lanka is also known as the teardrop of the Indian ocean and its also known as the pearl of the Indian ocean and it is known as the nation of smiling people as well .Sri lanka produced tea , coffee , rubber , coconuts , cinnamon and gemstones . There are 20 , 277 , 597 people living in sri lanka . The currency of sri lanka is sri lankan rupee .The size of sri lanka is 65 610 square kilometres .Sri lanka is the oldest democracy in south Asia .
