•Employee Retention is a method of taking measures to encourage workers to stay in the company for the highest possible time duration.

•It is a process in which the workers are motivated to stay with the completion of the particular project or long term.

•Long-term health and success of any organization depends upon the retention of key employees.

DEFINITION

Employee retention refers to the various policies and practices which let the employees stick to an organization for a longer period of time. Every organization invests time and money to groom a new joinee, make him a corporate ready material and bring him at par with the existing employees.

MEANING

An effort by a business to maintain a working environment which supports current staff in remaining with the company.

Many employee retention policies are aimed at addressing the Various needs of employees to enhance their job satisfaction and reduce the substantial costs involved in hiring and training new staff.
