How it relates to today:

We learnt heaps about sustainability and how we use our earth today.

We waste so many products in our world today and most of them are harming our earth.

Recyclable products are helping us keep the earth clean and beautiful but we still are destroying the world in many different ways.

What we want you to do:

Today we are going to do an activity that helps us to understand how recycling is a very important way of sustainability.

You will have 15-20 minutes to make an accessory or piece of clothing and one person from each group will model their piece at the end. It doesn’t matter how big or small it will be, its about the quality of the piece.

Get in groups of 8 plus and make the item of your choice out of the paper and recyclable items you have brought with you.

The only things you are allowed is your recyclable pieces, scissors and tape.

The best piece will be awarded something at the end
