Who are we?

Where are we?

Al-Azharuniversity is the first university in Egypt it was founded 970~972 and the fac-ulty of medicine in Al-Azhar was founded in 1962 with three big hospitals(Al-Hussein -Al-Saied Galal-Al-Zahra) that serve medical students where most all specialties are available .

StudentAssociation (AMSA) is a

non-profit association managed by volunteer

medical students and is independent from the

Students Union. In December 2007 Al-Azhar Medical

students’ association became a candidate member in

IFMSA-Egypt and was further promoted into an Associ-

ate member in November 2008 and a full member

in November 2010. And also Al-Azher Univer-

sity is the oldest university in Egypt

and the Middle East.

We

are located In the HeartOfEgypt“Cairo” the

capital of Egypt and the largest

city in the Arab world and Africa, and

the16th largest metropolitan area in the

world .It was founded in the year 969 A.D.

making it 1,042 years old. Nicknamed

“The City of a Thousand Minarets”

for its preponderance of Islamic

•Time We are available all over the year just choose a month from the its beginning to the end.

•Place At Al-Azhar Faculty of Medicine three big hospitals ; Al-Hussin, El-Said Galal and El-Zahraa.

You can inform us about the department you want to have your clerkship in. Most of clinical departments are available.asyoucanapplyto:

You have to attend 21 days of the month to have your certificate you have also to attend from 9:00 AM till 2:00 PM. Friday and Saturdayare off for weekend outside Cairo. You will receive your certificate 3 days before the end of the clerkship a party will be arranged for that and wait for many surprises in this party.

Certificates: After finishing the course you will take a certificate that is accredited from AMSA, the dean of the faculty of medicine Al-Azhar University , the head of the department you were studying in and the doctor who was responsible for you.

Place: In a hotel in the heart of Cairo. Students will stay in private, double and/or triple rooms. Alexandria:The second largest city in Egypt, Alexandria, known as “The Pearl of the Mediterranean”, has an atmosphere that is more Mediterranean than Middle Eastern ; its ambience and cultural heritage distance it from the rest of the country although it is actually only 225 km. from Cairo.Alexandria is a city to explore at random. It’s as important to enjoy the atmosphere as it is to see the sights.

Hurgdada:Is a city in the Red Sea Governorate of Egypt. It is a main tourist center and third largest city (after Suez and Ismailia) in Egypt located on the Red Sea coast.

Although a town in its own right Hurgada’s current major industry is foreign and domestic tourism, owing to its dramatic landscape, year-round dry and temperate climate and long stretches of natural beaches. Its waters are clear and calm for most of the year and have become popular for various watersports, particularly recreational scuba diving and snor-kelling.There are plenty of dive shops. Most take you out on a daytrip and make one dive in the morning and one in the afternoon. Dive sites around Abu Ramada Island, Giftun Kebir and Giftun Soraya are very popular. But you can also visit wrecks such as the El Mina or the Ro-salie Moller.Hurghada is so famous in august as it is so perfect month for diving and exploring the red sea coral reefs and its magnificent colored fish.

SharmElSheikh:A city situated on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, in South Sinai Governorate, sharm Sheikh is the administrative hub of Egypt’s South Sinai Governorate which includes the smaller coastal towns of Dahab and Nuweiba as well as the mountainous interior, Saint Catherine’s Monastery and Mount Sinai.The city is so famous for its climate which always warm in the winter and hot in the summer so there is abundant activities which can be done there such as, diving, snorkeling, swim-ming and safari trips.

Whiteandblackdesert:Located in Wadi el gdid governorate southern to Faium and siwa oasis , its magnificent with its natural shape of rocks , incomings can spend about 2 days camping in the desert so its ganna be such a life time experience for them , at the same time they are visiting it they can also spend a couple of days at siwa oasis and enjoy its monuments and natural mineral lakes.

LuxorandAswan: Two cities of the major historical contents in the world located in the southern of Egypt close the boarders with The Sudan , words can’t really describe its natural beauty and of course the ancient monuments they have, its recommended to take a 3 days nile cruise trip from luxor and aswan you will enjoy the beauty of the Nile it’s the most comfortable way to go through these two cities, its not recommended to go there in the summer time as its’ temperature raises very high about 45 and may reach 50 but its prefect time during winter vacation. Over 3 nights, 4days in Luxor and Aswan you’ll visit:
