Warehouse “Zondag’
Warehouse “Zondag’ is the former warehouse of the tea trade. The old industrial characteristics have been preserved in the building. As a result, the monumental warehouses are part of the protected urban area, with the “Zondag” building occupying a particularly impressive place.
The warehouses are located in the eastern port area. This area has become one of the most popular areas of Amsterdam in recent years. There are many new developments along the water with a new harbor and water gardens. This area has now become a favorite relaxation spot.

Accessibility
There are many nice shops and entertainment options within walking distance. The bathhouse on Javaplein is a pleasant meeting place. The Oosterpark and the Dappermarkt are a household name in Amsterdam. But even if you walk the other way there are the Harbor club, the swimming pool, the Flevopark and Youthland for the children.
Bus line 22 of public transport is right next to the building. Every fifteen minutes you bring this to the Central Station in eleven minutes. It is five minutes by bike to the University's Science park. The entire city center of Amsterdam can be reached by bike within fifteen minutes. The access to the ring is also perfect. In a few minutes you are from the parking garage under the building on the ring of Amsterdam.

City district East in Amsterdam
The Eastern Docklands was built in the late nineteenth century to provide Amsterdam with a deep water port for international trade. The area was transformed into a metropolitan residential and working area in the 1990s. New construction was erected. At the same time, monumental port buildings (such as warehouses) were restored and redeveloped for other functions. This created a mix of old and new buildings, including apartments, offices, shops, catering and cultural facilities, mostly on the water. The area is compared in appearance to the Eastern Docklands in London.
If you walk into the Veelaan from the Zeeburgerkade, you will immediately arrive in the Indische Buurt after a few hundred meters. This is a lively neighborhood with a high level of facilities for sports and culture. Javaplein and Javastraat have grown in recent years into a busy neighborhood where living, shops and catering are combined. After the Javastraat you will arrive at the Dappermarkt. Here you can shop at one of the oldest markets in Amsterdam.
The area around the Zeeburgerkade itself is characterized as a quiet living environment with many pleasant hot spots. It is a beautiful wetland area with no traffic noise. Something that is becoming more and more rare within Amsterdam. The Zeeburgerkade is unique in combination with its favorable location near the center.
