William Morris, artist, philosopher, poet and political theorist, was one of the most outstanding infl uential designers of the Arts and Crafts movement and through his company Morris and Co he produced some of the most fashionable and exciting textiles and wallpapers of his era. Morris and Co’s popularity is on the increase and is currently appealing to a wide age group from the fashion conscious teenager right through to the more traditional Morris consumer and his pattern spans across the globe. Blueprint’s fi rst Morris & Co Collection uses authentic versions of his original designs, mainly the iconic Strawberry Thief but it also picks up on some new interpretations of his work with the use of the hare and fox extorted from an original wall hanging. The product range is includes stationery and a strong collection of gift lines.
