More and more people are realizing the benefits of the vegetarian cuisine and are one of the chief reasons for the steady rise in the number of vegetarian restaurants.

Why vegan restaurants?

Meat though delicious, is expensive.

Barring the expense factor, there aren’t many health benefits associated with it either.

Meat is a good source for proteins and was one of the reasons why it was included in the daily diet.

However, in retrospect, it does more harm than good. In order to meet the protein requirements eating meat also leads to increase in weight, calories and the inevitable cholesterol.

Vegan is the best option!

For years, Indians have found it difficult to adjust to the food when they go abroad. But all of that is fast changing. All over the world people are accepting veganism in order to stay healthy for long. Be it New Delhi or New York, vegetarian restaurants are popping up at every nook and corner. Most of them are turning them into family restaurants as people realize the importance of having a meal together, in order to be more involved and informed about each other’s lives.

More than anything else,

this trend of vegan and eating together is sure to

stay!
